  1. If you run Windows 10, here's a fun exercise... 1. In edit mode, rename each sequence 2. Click the SEQUENCES tab in the bin and, for each sequence in turn, right-click it and click PROPERTIES 3. For each sequence - wipe (highlight) the sequence name, press <ctrl-C> on the keyboard, and close the properties box 4. Click FILE | EXPORT ALL SEQUENCES 5. With the first export box showing, swipe the "untitled" name 6. Click Windows Key + V - to invoke the Windows multiple clipboard and click the appropriate name on the clipboard - CREATE Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each sequence
  2. A learning experience. Click a SEQUENCE tab above the timeline, to bring that sequence into focus. Or, follow Nat's suggestion and click FILE | EXPORT ALL SEQUENCES. Mo' better.
  3. https://www.nch.com.au/software/buyfaq.html If your query isn't answered on that page, click the link at the very bottom.
  4. Should be fine. You have tried exporting at a lower resolution? Upload and share the project. Someone will see that you succeed.
  5. License Videopad. Direct YouTube uploads will usually succeed, and there will be no limitation on export formats.
  6. Renaming the sequence tabs won't carry over to export.
  7. In the export config box, renaming the sequence will stick. Name each as you set them up for export.
  8. That certainly should not be a problem. Share the project, as above, and someone will analyse and test an export at your settings. To see the resolution of a file, right-click it in the bin (top-left) and click PROPERTIES. The 'dimensions' field lists the resolution. Install the latest version, but retain your licensed installer and code. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest..
  9. The 'free' (trial) version is the same as the licensed version, but has limitations. Install the latest version, but retain your licensed installer and code. What version of Videopad is being used? What are the export settings? How long is the project? What is the resolution of the bulk of the source files? Try to export at a lower resolution. Try it as an AVI with the MPEG4 compressor. Please upload and share the PORTABLE project folder (not the export). This is simple, quick and can be private. Just follow the PORTABLE project instructions here... http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/ If it contains sensitive material link it in a personal message (PM). Click the envelope above. It won't be passed on or retained. Use FILE|SAVE PORTABLE PROJECT AS, not simply SAVE PROJECT, and don't forget to get a shareable link to post. Someone will check it out.

  11. What version of VP is being used? Upgrade to the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. You can also try these measures, after Saving Project AS, and giving it a unique name or #, so as to not overwrite prior saves. If just plain Save Project is used, it will overwrite.. Close the program. Restart it, and before loading the project click OPTIONS | DISK tab and Clear Unused Cache Files. If that doesn't help, again close the program and have its installer on hand. Delete all files in the following PC folders... . "C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\Components" "C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\Components" Alternatively, the files may be in "C:\Program Files\NCH Software\Components" Reinstall Videopad. If none of this helps please share your PORTABLE project. It's easy, quick and can be private. We don't need the export, just the portable project folder. Here's how to do it... http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/ If it contains sensitive material link it in a personal message (PM). Click the envelope above. 12. Try different compressors. You may see filesize reduction without quality compromise. Correct, the active sequence is the one that is exported. Each will have the default name "untitled." Untitled (1), untitled (2), etc. They can be renamed later.
  13. Parallel, no. Cued, yes, if each project is a separate sequence. Start each export independently. As soon as one completes VP will move on to the next. Ideas to reduce overall export time: lower resolution, frame rate and quality. Try a different compressor, such as MPEG4, in lieu of H264.

Someone here will be glad to check out your issue. Just upload and share the project (not the export). It's not difficult, takes little time and can be private. 15. If there are completed videos, as in the Mp4, AVI, MOV, etc. formats, simply import them into the Videopad bin (top-left) using the ADD FILES button on the toolbar. Then drag them to the timeline in the arrangement desired. Or right-click in the bin and select an option to do the same. Check out the many VP Tutorials.
  16. Upload and share the project and someone will take a listen. It's easy, quick and can be private. Follow the PORTABLE project instructions at this link. Don't upload the export. http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/ If it contains sensitive material link it in a personal message (PM). Click the envelope above. It won't be passed on or retained. Use FILE|SAVE PORTABLE PROJECT AS, not simply SAVE PROJECT, and don't forget to get a shareable link to post.
  17. If you have a Google account, just sign in. Or sign up to drive.google.com/ and upload. Get a shareable link and post it to me in a private message by clicking the folder at the top-right of this forum.
  18. In MPC-BE, MPC-HC or Windows Media Player clicking on the SEEK bar does the deed, as in the video above.
  19. You can send a link to your snapshot. Upload it to a free server, such as DropBox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, get a shareable (public) link and post it here. Removing a portion of video and then joining the remaining parts can be done in a number of ways. You might SPLIT at the beginning and end of the part to be removed, right-click in the newly split-out area and DELETE. Then right-click in the area again and CLOSE GAP. delete.mp4
  20. If VP is frozen while attempting to save the portable project, you can instead upload the folder that contains all your source material, including the VPJ file. Zip it first if possible. FILE | SAVE PORTABLE PROJECT AS should take only seconds. But uploading to One Drive can take some time. If you Saved the Project File at any time while editing or exiting, nothing should be lost. Clicking on the saved VPJ file should relaunch it. The portable project save is essentially the same, but facilitates sharing. When the upload is complete just COPY the link and post it here or to a private message.
  21. What version is being used? The latest is here. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. Did you stabilize any clips? Did you allow the project to fully cache, as verified by the completion of the green line above the thumbnails, and loading of the audio clips in the bin (top-left)? Be sure to Save Project AS, giving it a unique name or #, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Save Project (no AS) will overwrite. Then you're protected. If the issue persists the best way to get to the bottom of it is to share. We'll take a look. It's easy, takes little time and can be private. Follow the PORTABLE project instructions here... Here's how... http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/ If it contains sensitive material link it in a personal message (PM). Click the envelope above. 22. Experience here has been that VP video exports can SEEK in most players, though increments may not be precise - formats vary - and sometimes seek isn't available. test.mp4
  23. What version of Videopad is being used? What is the export format and settings? In what application are you viewing the exported project? Answer those questions and share your project. Someone here will quickly find the solution. Sharing is easy, quick and can be private. Don't upload the export, just the PORTABLE project folder, as explained step-by-step here... http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/ If your work contains sensitive material link it in a personal message (PM). Click the envelope above. It won't be passed on or retained. Use FILE|SAVE PORTABLE PROJECT AS, not simply SAVE PROJECT, and don't forget to get a shareable link to post.
  24. That's a pretty rocky stream all right. Doesn't sound overdriven. Give NCH Debut a go and see if it does better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46L2nqdoieE Free trial.
  25. Nat points out that the transitions FADE and FADE THRU BLACK are the same. True, but IMO FADE should simply fade down to black and not fade up the next clip (a dip). About the only practical way to accomplish that fade down | pop on action is to animate the transparency effect. Or a very small unlinked video gap can be created at the end of the first clip. But this seems needlessly complex.
