  1. Did you install the current release? Please share the project, per the instructions above. We'll take a look and come up with a fix.
  2. To post a link to a video, image or file here, upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, click SHARE and if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view." And here, fully outline what's wrong, step-by-step. What version of Videopad is being used? Look at the left-bottom corner of the window. What are the PC's specs: CPU/GPU/RAM?
  3. VP does install codecs, but there have been no reports this corrupts overall sound or leads to O/S crashes. After a blue screen, there should be a .dmp file here. Use a .dmp analysis tool to discover the cause. Or visit a Windows forum and ask someone to examine that file file in your behalf. If this appears to be primarily audio related you might reinstall or update the sound driver. Chances are it's Realtek... In Device Manager, locate that tree and double-click the Realtek(R) Audio item... Install the latest. VP release ... and report back.
  4. What's the version #? Look at the bottom-left of the VP window. What are the PC's specs: CPU/GPU/RAM? If you take a few minutes to share the project, someone will analyze it and find a fix. That's the best way to track down problems. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  5. New topic, as your issue is unclear. If it's the repositioning bounce in full-screen mode that was addressed in the earlier, dated thread, try the current release. You can file a bug report here. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. In Clip preview mode, clicking and leaving the pointer in the bottom 'control' area seems to stop the bouncing, as in the demo below where Start/End times have been set. (The video shows only the bottom of the full screen.) Clip Preview can be started/stopped via <ctrl-spacebar>. Explain more fully what 'filters' you're referring to? Better still, post a link to a video that illustrates the problem. Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view." Untitled.mp4
  6. What version of Videopad is being used? Look at the bottom-left corner of the window. Install the current release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. Report back on whether that helped.
  7. Glad to help. As an afterthought test, the VP stabilizer helped considerably. Check your PM folder.
  8. Thanks for sharing. Don't know that much can be done about this, as it jitters in the original - especially during the book pan near the end - when viewed in no less than four media players and another editor. The issue may not be as noticeable in the export as it is in preview. What's the URL for this clip? If available, try to capture the file at different settings. Perhaps that will result in a cleaner downloaded file.
  9. What version of Videopad is in use? What's the resolution of the clip? 4K? Please share it, and someone will take a look. Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
  10. Select the clip on the timeline. Click the Clip Preview tab. Click in the Cursor: time field and enter a valid time. Double-click below for full screen. Record_2023_07_19_11_27_05_831.mp4
  11. Is the source 4K? What's the encoding - AVC (H264) or HEVC (H265)? What VP version is in use? Look at the bottom-left corner of the window. Submit a sample file for analysis.
  12. Don't recall ever seeing a report of sound vanishing mid-project; it's either there or it isn't. Confirm whether the problem is with both PCs? The laptop is AMD; is the other Intel? Does this occur with the unedited file, or only after you make changes, add effects, etc.? Though this is an audio issue, try the None(CPU only) setting under OPTIONS | ADVANCED |GPU PROCESSOR. The three files that you linked above each loaded in a minute or two, played flawlessly and exported losslessly in less than thirty-seconds. #10 has left-channel audio only, while the others have better quality two-channel sound. As the issue cannot be replicated here, suggest that you install the latest release. Consider a REVO uninstall prior to this. Clear Unused Cache Files before starting each new project. If the happens with a 'raw' file, please upload and share it. If audio cuts out after editing, share the project, as instructed above. Let us know.
  13. Don't know what you're seeing there, but your video looks typical here. No artifacts, fuzziness or pixelation. Here's a screen grab, with brightness/contrast slightly enhanced. Share the project and we'll test it. Not the export or YT URL, as above. 14. Videopad has considerably more capabilities than Windows MM. Yet there's a learning curve. Takes practice and time. Check out the tutorials linked here. VP is a relatively easy to manage editor when compared to some others. If you need more help, please start a new thread. Repeating the demo above, images can indeed be placed on empty video track 1, with audio on audio track 1. If there is video on track 1, then images or video placed on track 2 - usually scaled smaller - take precedence, and cover track 1. (Picture-in-picture.) If the content on track 2 is transparent, as with text files or captions, it will be superimposed over track one. Text files and captions placed on track 1, won't be superimposed. They will be handled just like an image. You can install the standard (pro) release as a trial. All features will be available for a short time. Add_images.mp4
  15. The videos are at 720 from YT and look normal here. For that type of content there should be little need for 4K (or even 2K). Export as mp4 from VP, then use YT's uploader. See how that looks.
  16. If it looks good in a PC viewer that hints at a YT playback issue. Perhaps the stream isn't being delivered at high quality? Check playback settings... Share the file and someone will check it out.
  17. It's unclear what the issue is. Where's the lag - when importing clips to VP or when playing the exported project? Share your six-minute long video and someone will take a look. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  18. Use the PC file manager (likely Windows Explorer) to find the files. If they're missing, try exporting again. Install this release. Ignore any virus warnings. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  19. Two things to try... If you're using the subtitle editor, use the text editor instead. If you're pressing the LOSSLESS button on the Export menu toolbar, try this instead... or vice versa. 13.51 is beta (test) so expect the unexpected.
  20. What version? Look at the bottom-left of the window. From the Export menu toolbar, press the LOSSLESS button. If that's accepted, it may be the cure. Or... Install the current release and see if that takes care of it. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  21. That should be fixed in the next release (13.60 or later). It's good in the beta (test) version.
  22. Please install the current release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. To follow Dangerfreak's suggestion... On the menu (at the top of the VP window) click the Home tab. Then on the toolbar click OPTIONS. Click the ADVANCED tab. In the GPU Processor section at the bottom click the caret and choose None (CPU Only). Report back.
  23. Some things must remain a mystery.😉 Under OPTIONS | ADVANCED in the GPU section, choose Default if that's not already the choice.
  24. What version? Install the linked release, above, and report back.
