  1. That should be fixed in the next release (13.60 or later). It's good in the beta (test) version.
  2. Please install the current release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. To follow Dangerfreak's suggestion... On the menu (at the top of the VP window) click the Home tab. Then on the toolbar click OPTIONS. Click the ADVANCED tab. In the GPU Processor section at the bottom click the caret and choose None (CPU Only). Report back.
  3. Some things must remain a mystery.😉 Under OPTIONS | ADVANCED in the GPU section, choose Default if that's not already the choice.
  4. What version? Install the linked release, above, and report back.
  5. Has track one been inadvertently turned off? That would cause this behavior. What version of the program is this? Look at the left-bottom corner of the window. Install the current release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  6. besplatnaya versia imeet effects, export yi, vozmozhno, drugiye ogranicenia, vie to vremya kak kuplennaya versia etogo nay delaet.
  7. Another approach would be to place video 2 on track 2, immediately above video 1 on track 1. Use effects to size and position each to complement one another. In essence, that's 'picture-in-picture.' Bear in mind that higher tracks take precedence over lower. An image on track 2 will be layered over the one on track 1.
  8. This what you have in mind? Try the Split-Screen effect.... Allows you to crop the clip to take up a predefined portion of the image. To achieve a splitscreen effect, overlay two clips and assign each to different halves. Another approach would be to place video 2 on track 2, immediately above video 1 on track 1. Use effects to size and position each to complement one another. That's 'picture-in-picture.' Bear in mind that higher tracks take precedence over lower. An image on track 2 will be layered over the one on track 1.
  9. As mentioned in the other thread, the VPJ is not a playable file. It's an instruction to VP on how to handle the project. YT won't recognize it and never did. Two ways to upload to YouTube. #1. Click the Export menu... On the toolbar, click EXPORT | YouTube and follow the prompts... #2. Export the project as a Video File, then use YouTube's uploader to process it... See https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/57407?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop Examine the VP tutorials for good info on how to work with the program.
  10. Here's my best explanation for what should be a very simple procedure. First, your audio is complete on audio track 1. For this example, there is nothing on video track 1. Drag your image clips to video track 1. The Sequence Mode will play both the images and the sound. Record_2023_07_10_16_11_21_395.mp4 Example two. If there already are images on track 1, adding transparent text clips to track 2 will superimpose them. Unless higher track content has a transparent background - as with text clips - the higher tracks may cause the lower tracks not to be visible because higher tracks take precedence. Text clips or images can be dragged anywhere on a track or even from track to track. Record_2023_07_10_16_18_06_763.mp4 It makes no difference what track clips are added to. But if your music was part of an audio/video file, like an mp4, then adding clips to a higher, unused track should be used, as this won't affect linked audio. It will layer the new clips over the existing video, just as the text clips did in this demo. An existing track - both its audio and video - can also be locked, via a right-click at the far left of the track. Choose LOCK TRACK. After that, the locked track won't be altered when clips are added or manipulated on other tracks. But this shouldn't be necessary for what you want to do.
  11. Just the same two files. No need to link them again. The instructions and demo above explain how this is done.
  12. If others have something to share, they will follow and append to this thread. Google Play has nothing to do with this issue. You are uploading to Google Drive. It appears that you attempted that, but only the slide and the VPJ file succeeded. But, if your project is a big one that will take 6 hours to upload, then don't bother. Yes, the video shown in the above demo isn't yours, except for the slide. But it demonstrates that the slide can be placed onto track 2 directly above track 1 video. If there is no video on track 1, then it can be dropped above your audio on that track. Audio won't be touched. If an image is placed on track two it will indeed be visible in SEQUENCE preview mode, just as seen in the demo preview window. Be sure that you are viewing the sequence and not the clip. Click in the timeline, or click the Sequence tab above the preview window. When the sequence is played, it will show the image - whether it's on track 1 or 2 - and play the audio. Same for the exported file. Note that Fantasy In C is immediately above the first audio, and that it is shown in preview. No gaps, no shifting of audio... This now appears to be what you're after. Achieving it is very simple in Videopad, per the above instructions.
  13. Your "another try" was simply the VPJ alone, once again. An image here won't help, but a link to an image can be pasted. Upload the file/s to Google Drive. Get a public, unrestricted link and insert it here. No need to repeatedly send links. Once, either here or in a Private Message, is sufficient. Clear your Google Drive space and try again. Don't upload the VPJ separately; it's included in the project folder that you saved in VP. Only two files from your project folder came through - the VPJ and your Fantasy in C slide. This may indicate that Google Drive is full. The space that you have there is shared by Google Mail and other apps. The project folder that you are attempting to upload must fit into the available free space. If you want the slide to be seen just as the audio begins and not before, an easy way is to right-click on it in the bin and or simply drag it to the start of track 2 if there is video on track 1. If video track 1 is empty, then drag the slide to the beginning of that track. Either way, audio won't be affected and there won't be gaps. It will show in the background if your slide is smaller. Use the SCALE effect to enlarge the image so it covers the background on track 1. The music track won't be affected. You can then drag the right handle of the image to the end of the music, if desired. Of course the slide then will cover all the track 1 video. Record_2023_07_10_13_59_33_110.mp4
  14. When we see the project we can try to replicate your result. In Google you must click SHARE, then change Restricted to Anyone With Link Can View before the folder can be downloaded here.
  15. Hopefully there's enough space on Google drive to accommodate the project. If not, it will be incomplete. Any VP release will save your two audio tracks, if correctly programmed. And it makes no difference which Windows O/S if being used. An alternative to the right-click menu in the bin is to drag the file to the start of the sequence ... or to use the ADD (or in some versions PLACE) button, under the preview window.
  16. Nope. That still just the VPJ file. You must follow the above instructions to the letter. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. The result will look something like this... THAT'S the folder to upload to Google Drive. Videopad works just fine - on W7-W11, but it takes time to learn. What version of Videopad is being used. Here's the current release.
  17. Need to see the project. The VPJ file alone is of no use in this context. Follow the above instructions carefully. This will create a dated project file containing all source files + the VPJ. Upload that to Google Drive. Click Share and then make the link public not restricted. Post the link here.
  18. Keep in mind that the VPJ file is not the project - it tells the project what to do. A VPJ cannot be played like a video file. To play a project it must first be exported. That creates a playable file in any number of formats, resolutions, etc. Clips can be easily added at the head without creating a space before audio already on the timeline. Let's say that there are images on video track 1 and a song on audio track 1. If a new image is added on track 1 it won't affect the song. But if a new video clip is added at the head, then the existing clips will be pushed to the right. Record_2023_07_10_11_45_39_777.mp4 To share your project, just follow these steps. Someone will take a look and come up with a fix. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  19. Tough to diagnose what you see without having the project to analyze. If the first clip on the sequence has video and audio linked (which would be typical), then both will move to the right when a clip is added at the head, so the audio and video stay in sync. That's normal. If you don't want the audio to be affected, UNlink it via a right-click on either the vid or aud track and then click on the UNlink choice. If a black space has been created between clips, right-click in that space and CLOSE GAP. Save Project File AS routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. As mentioned, from the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the caret to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar. When the VPJ is restored, all will be as it was when it was saved. No missing items - unless they have been removed.
  20. If there's a title card that is NOT to be superimposed it can be placed on track one. Or a higher track. Keep in mind that higher tracks take precedence, so if the title card is full screen on track 2, then nothing will show from track one. If the card is scaled down, then track one will display 'behind' the title. That's a picture-in-picture effect. If the title has a transparent background, such as titles created with the Videopad tool, place is on a higher track, immediately above the the background content. The VPJ is a control file that tells the program what to do. It's not meant to be displayed. When a project is saved or saved AS, with a unique name or # - so as to not overwrite earlier saves - it creates the VPJ. When a VPJ is double-clicked it opens the saved project associated with it. If you get a "resolve' prompt, then the source file used for that project has either been removed or deleted. Don't do that until the project is complete and will never again need to be edited. Click the RESOLVE button and locate the file on the PC. Then save AS the project so it updates the VPJ to the new file location, while leaving the earlier VPJ file as is for protection. Save Project file AS is available from the Home toolbar - click the caret to the right of the Save button. There should be no problem adding clips to the head of the project without disturbing the existing content, which will shift to the right. No track two is created. Right-click the clip in the bin (top-left) and Place on Sequence at Start. Works just like this... Record_2023_07_10_10_51_40_956.mp4 VP is pretty friendly, but it's more full featured than WMM. As with all software, there's a learning curve. Click the ? at the top-right for HELP. And at the top of this forum, choose the link to the tutorials.
  21. The usual method is to split the IN and OUT points, then right-click in the split-out area and Delete. Right-click in the gap and Close Gap. Or Delete (Ripple) and the gap should close itself. Record_2023_07_10_20_08_59_139.mp4 Works here in the current release. If it doesn't for you, let's take a look at the project. This is the best way to track down issues. 22. Take Dangerfreak's advice and report back. Please mention your PC's specs: GPU/CPU/RAM and what version of VP is being used. Look at the bottom-left corner of the window. Test the latest release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  23. Thanks for sharing privately. The VHS transfer was apparently bad, as the distortion is evident on the original files in several players. Try again.
  24. This is a two-year old thread, so best to start a new one. But since we're here... Odd. The title track, placed just above the background, will always show as an overlay during preview, if the title color contrasts with the lower track. Let's see what's going on. Share your project.
