  1. You might want to check out this beta while awaiting a new release version, which should be along soon. Take a minute to share your project, and we'll see how it does here. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  2. Once the clips are fully cached there should be no "building preview" delay. With very high-def or large files this can take some time. Let the green line complete. Adding effects may cause re-caching, but that delay should be minimal. With 2/4K files, consider proxies - a common practice. Smaller versions of the files are used for editing, then the originals are substituted for export. See the Proxy Editing sticky at the top of this forum. Also. if your PC runs Windows 64-bit, install the VP 64-bit release, which better utilizes memory.
  3. Several ways... Right-click a clip and APPLY LAST VIDEO EFFECT. Or select the clips and then program an effect. If it isn't automatically applied to all those you have selected, click the Replace Effect Chain button on the effects toolbar... It's the icon with the green check mark.
  4. That's precisely what you will get after ZOOMing and exporting at the custom res of 640x360... Right-click and SAVE this mp4 and look at its Properties... 640x360.mp4
  5. Use ZOOM, not CROP.
  6. For frame accuracy, test this beta release.
  7. Glad it worked out. Next week, download and install the official release from https://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/index.html The version # is shown at the bottom-left of the Videopad window.
  8. No need to send. Use the 13.49 release and export losslessly. Looks fine here. Note my added suggestions above.
  9. Better. Using the latest version, linked above, export with the LOSSLESS choice from the Home toolbar. That should do the job. Consider cranking down the music, using the slider to the left of the track... Also, for efficiency and speed, try not to load clips that are not being used. .. To purge them, select them all in a bin with <ctrl-A>, check the "do this for all" box and click the CANCEL (not the Delete) button. Then click the caret to the right of the SAVE button on the Home toolbar and choose Save AS. Give it a unique name, such as "<your project name>revised."
  10. Peculiar. Please share this project, so it can be analyzed and fixed. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  11. Please install this release ... and report back.
  12. With a 16x9 aspect ratio, perhaps something like this video. Background on track 1, text on 2, insert video on 3. Animate the MOTION effect for scaling and position. See http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/videopad/win64bitpaid/effects_animating.html If you post a link to the "nice video" someone here will attempt to duplicate it more closely. Scale_pan.mp4
  13. Animation duration is how long the timer will run within the set clip duration. For example, if these are the settings... This will be the result... Timer.mp4
  14. Clean here, when exported at 1080 resolution, which you can select manually in the resolution drop-down box. Briefly, here's another link for version 13.40.
  15. Thanks for sharing. Something's not right. Use this release instead of the latest. Ignore any virus warnings.
  16. What version of Videopad is being used? Test the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. 18. Few releases sported that feature, where the colors differentiated voice from music, etc. It may have been a test? Right-click on the audio track and see if there's an item referring to color.
  19. Do you mean that only one-second will export? What export settings are being used? What are the specs of your PC: CPU/GPU/RAM? Please install this one. Ignore any virus warnings. Report back. If you take the time to share the project as instructed just above someone will check it out.
  20. One approach... Position the cursor at the head of the clip, using the ||< and >|| buttons under the preview window. Right-click the clip and Change Clip Speed. Click In the Duration column and enter the desired time. If you need to see the duration that the clip occupies, mouse over the clip. A pop up will list it... Click Set. All clips will ripple to accommodate the new speed. Record_2023_06_11_21_08_22_180.mp4

  22. Ir's been noted that some GIFs don't animate in Videopad. If the GIF appears under the Video bin, it will animate; if under the Images bin, it will not. Share that GIF and others will check it out... Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
  23. The dated 11.38 (64) is here. Ignore any virus warnings. The latest 64-bit release is here.
