  1. Why sequences didn't export is curious. Use the 64-bit VP release. It is best for lengthy or complex projects. One way you might go at this is to create a sequence, then export it. Clear the timeline and create another ... and so on. When all sequences are ready, assemble them for the final sequence, then add subs and dates. At each step, Save Project File AS, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. From the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the caret to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar. That's protection, should something go awry.
  2. Thanks for sharing your project. Please see your personal message for the result.
  3. Another approach would be to capture the video with a program like Debut.
  4. Another easy thing to try... Right-click the VP launch file and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR. Share the file and we'll see how it loads here.
  5. Perhaps a component has been damaged. Close Videopad. Use Windows Explorer (the file manager) to locate these folders and delete all the files that they contain... "C:\Users\<PC Name>\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\Components" "C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\Components" Then reinstall Videopad. Here's the current release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  6. What is the version #? Look at the left-bottom corner of the Videopad window. What are your PC's specs: CPU/GPU/RAM? Install this release and report back whether it solves the problem.
  7. Your project upload is incomplete. Only a few stills appear on timeline and this file is missing.. Click to enlarge. If your package exceeded the 5GB One Drive free account capacity it's conceivable that this is the reason that the file didn't upload. Clean out all files and try again. Or use Google Drive, where the free limit is 15GB. Does the project play on the timeline as expected? What version is being used? Look at the bottom-left corner of the Videopad window. Please try again. Follow the above instructions.
  8. What version is being used? Look at the bottom-left corner of the Videopad window. Try the LOSSLESS export option and see if the project meets the requirements... Install this release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  9. This is likely to be resolved in the next release (13.60 or later). In the interim, if you would like to install the beta (test) version, go here. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  10. Say that there's a single clip on the timeline chopped into segments with the SPLIT function. There will be no listing of those individual segments. But a segment can be selected and copied, using <ctrl-C>, and then pasted into another spot on the timeline or into another sequence, using <ctrl-V>. Another project can be imported into the current project via the FILE menu. Its clips will show up in the appropriate bins, and the imported project will become a new timeline sequence. Timeline clip segments can be copied back to the bin. Drag them. They will be given incremental (numbers) and deleted from the timeline.... Record_2023_08_17_07_46_02_219.mp4 Save Project File AS routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. From the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the caret to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar.
  11. Please check out your Private Message. Click the envelope near the top right of the forum when you're logged in.
  12. Please share the project for analysis. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  13. When an audio/video, still image or just plain audio file is imported, it is referred to as a clip. There, a single segment can be isolated. Click on the clip, then move the cursor to where the segment you want should begin. Click the SET START button. Move the cursor to where the segment will end and click SET END... Then either drag the clip to the timeline or right-click on it for placement options... The trimmed segment appears on the timeline by there's no change in appearance of the original clip in the bin. An alternative to this bin clip procedure is to drag a clip to the timeline and isolate segments there, by creating an IN and and OUT splits. Each section of that single bin clip is considered to be a new clip, just as if different clips have been placed there. Bin clips won't reflect those changes. That said, if an effect is added to a bin clip, the effect will carry over when the clip is placed on the timeline. Normally it's on the timeline that clips are rearranged, and effects and transitions added. Importing a single clip to the bin multiple times, and using the bin SET method described above isn't necessary. Check in again in you need more clarification.
  14. What version is being used? Look at the left-bottom corner of the VP window. Try this one. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. Report results here please.
  15. Good to hear. For analysis with the latest release, please take a minute to share your project - either here or in private. Just follow these steps... 16. Tested a 360 mp4 file in Videopad 13.59. A section was excised. Then the project was exported as an mp4 via the HOME toolbar 360 button. (Other formats may also succeed.) To view in VP, right-click in the preview window... The exported clip looked fine in the GoPro player. Share a sample file or two, just as you did the jpg files above, and someone (perhaps with more extensive knowledge) will check it out.
  17. Try this release. If no luck, you can revert to the one that created the project. Download it here. Ignore any virus warnings.
  18. Yes, install on demand could very well be. Thanks for checking this out.
  19. Interesting. What about C:\Program Files\NCH Software\Components (if it even exists)?
  20. As an afterthought, please check this path to see if at least some of the files listed above are installed there... C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\Components\ Thanks.
  21. Thanks for the report. Glad it worked out. VP should install required files as needed, but that is an interesting differential perhaps arising from the many releases and features tested here.
  22. Ah, seek out forums/sites that deal with those specifics.
  23. Check the HELP files. Press <ctrl-F> to bring up a search bar.
  24. Try this, and let us know... Right-click the Videopad launch file and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR. Verify that these files appear in this PC path... "C:\Users\<PC Name>\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\Components" Thanks
  25. If the clips are grouped they should move in cadence even if they deselect after the first move. That's the behavior here. Individual clips can be deselected via the right-click menu. Yes, a range of clips - audio or video - are selected by clicking the first clip to be moved, holding down <shift>, and clicking the last.
