Did you click OK after you select the soundcard on the Settings Window?
-
You can try WavePad with full features in 14 days. After 14 days, all the Master features will be disabled and you need to purchase a licence in order to continue to use them. However, you will still be able to use all the basic features.

We don't have any program that is specific designed for playing vox files. We will develop one soon but for now, you can use Express Scribe which is available to download at nch.com.au/scribe to play vox files.
-
Unfortunately, there is no way to retrieve the file again. it is recommended that you should save the file after recording. We are going to add the "Redo" option in WavePad to avoid this kind of problem.
-
Try our new software "Golden Records", which is designed to convert your old vinyl LP records, tapes or cassettes onto CD or to wav or mp3 files.
-
If you want WavePad to record the file which is played by Windows Media Player, you need to select "Wav Out Mix" not "CD Player". Alternatively, I would suggest you to use Switch Audio Converter which allow to convert audio cd files to wav files quickly.

Thanks for your feedback. We will take this into consideration in future release of WavePad.

You may have turned on the Voice Activate option. Try to do these:
~ Click on Advanced Record Options button in Record COntrol window
~ Untick the Voice Activated Recording
-
Make sure that you select the correct soundcard and input channel. This can be found in Settings dialog for RecordPad or Record Control window for WavePad
You may also have turned on the Voice Activate option. Perhaps you should turn it off.

What version are you using? Download the latest version from our website and try again. There is no restriction on recording in the free version

Hi,
Try to use "Shift+Space" instead of "Space" only. "Space" is the shortcut key for "Scrub", which is the third button on the main window.
We will fix this problem in the next release.

You have downloaded the Master Edition setup file. That's why it stops working completely after 14 days. Download the Freeware Version from WavePad homepage and it should allow you to continue to use it.
-
Which preset did you use? Also please give more details about the preset settings you chose.
-
There is no restriction on saving mp3 and wav files on the Free version. Perhaps you should give us more details about the error message and the format settings.

How long did you record?
-
Unfortunately, you can't record and play file at the same with the current version of WavePad. You can record a new file by RecordPad Sound Recorder (can be downloaded from nch.com.au/recordpad) and play the file with WavePad.
