  1. You can try WavePad with full features in 14 days. After 14 days, all the Master features will be disabled and you need to purchase a licence in order to continue to use them. However, you will still be able to use all the basic features.

  2. We don't have any program that is specific designed for playing vox files. We will develop one soon but for now, you can use Express Scribe which is available to download at nch.com.au/scribe to play vox files.

  3. If you want WavePad to record the file which is played by Windows Media Player, you need to select "Wav Out Mix" not "CD Player". Alternatively, I would suggest you to use Switch Audio Converter which allow to convert audio cd files to wav files quickly.

  4. Make sure that you select the correct soundcard and input channel. This can be found in Settings dialog for RecordPad or Record Control window for WavePad

You may also have turned on the Voice Activate option. Perhaps you should turn it off.

  5. Unfortunately, you can't record and play file at the same with the current version of WavePad. You can record a new file by RecordPad Sound Recorder (can be downloaded from nch.com.au/recordpad) and play the file with WavePad.

  6. Hi,

    Try to follow these steps:

    ~ Record file

~ Save As mp3 file or wav file

~ Edit ID3 tags. After click OK on the Edit ID3 tags window, just simply close the file. Don't do Save As again.

    This should work fine.

  7. Some advanced features include:

~ Control it from command line

    ~ Hotkey controls

~ Specify the output filename format

~ Limit the maximum recording time

~ Action to do when maximum recording time is reached

    ~ and much much more....

Why don't you download it and try?
