Yes, we are working on the next release of WavePad which will support ID3 tags editing. It will be released very soon.

Hi,
If you select region and choose Copy To New, does it work? I suspect you are running out of free space on the selected Audio Working Folder. Try to change the Audio working folder (in Settings-> Audio Processing) to something else to see if it works.

Hi,
To load a track from CD, use the option File->Load Audio CD Track(s) (not File->Open File). After the file is loaded into WavePad, you need to use File->Save As to save the file to your computer.
You can also try Express Rip CD Ripper, which can be downloaded from our website nch.com.au/rip.

Why?
in Record Pad
Thank you for your enquiry. RecordPad is a more specialist and powerful sound recorder than the internal recorder of WavePad. If you need to quickly and easily record audio notes, messages or annoucements in either wav or mp3, then RecordPad is your choice.

Try to untick the Voice Activated Recording option.

Hi, you can watch the level meter in the Record Window.
-
Have you tried Noise reduction in WavePad?
-
Download the latest version 1.2 from our website and it should be fixed.
-
You should be able to do it with the free version. After click Save button in the Save As window, the Select Wave File Format window should be displayed, which allow you to select the format you want.

Region is a feature of the Master Edition, so it will be disabled it after 14 days trial. You can also try the following way:
~Use WavePad to move through the file finding the beginning and end of each item. Select the item then select Edit->Copy To New. Finally use File->Save to save the new item as a seperate file. Repeat the process for each item.
Region is designed to help you do this kind of job more efficiently.

If you would like to see some new feature in the next version of RecordPad we love to hear them.
Just reply to this post.

hi, you should check that you select the correct record device and input channel. These can be found in the Record Control window.
-
You will need to use WavePad to move through the file finding the beginning and end of each item. Select the item and define it as a "region". Then select the option Copy region(s) to CD in the Region List window, the items will be copied as separate tracks.
Refer to the help topic Bookmarks, Regions and the Assemble Tool for more details

Hi, you should be able to do it with the free version. What is the file format you are trying to load? Does it give you any error message?

Unfortunately, the current version of WavePad doesn't support command line. We will add it in future releases.

Hi, you can move the mouse over the buttons or checkboxes and hold for a few seconds to see their description.

Hi, unfortunately the current versions of WavePad, Switch don't support batch cutting. You can do it manually in WavePad. We will add this to our software suggestion list for WavePad.

Were you connected to the Internet when installing? If you want to install WavePad related programs (eg, Express Rip, Burn, etc), you need to be connected to the Internet in order to download their setup files.

Hi,
Try to change the Record Input Channel to something else. This can be found on Record Control window, under Record Device.
