Can you please give me more details about the equalizer settings you use?

I have the free version, and when I try to use the equalizer, the sound gets very choppy and then the program freezes.  Isn't anyone else having this problem?  It didn't exist with the older version!  Can anything be done?

I'm having the same problem, the pop and click filter doesn't seem to work at all. Even tried turning the parameters right up and nothing.

 

Also check out this thread by  Bernhard Gloeckl and read his comments about this feature causing crashes. Which has been happaening to me.

Does it only happen to mp3 files? Can you save in other formats? I can send you a diagnostic version to help us figure out the problem.

I am in the same boat. I downloaded the encoader but it still will not save even though it goes through the motions. What else can it be?

Can you please let me know which commands you use in the Batch Converter?

I downloaded the newest version 3.02 and upgraded to the masters edition but the batch converter still does not work.  Any ideas as to why it doesn't work now?

If you purchased the software, you shoud have received your activation code by email. Please check your email again. You can then follow the instructions in that email to get the registration id.

Have you tried to increase the microphone volume by using the Windows Volume Control??

I tried recording my voice over a small mic on my Toshiba laptop. Sound is very faint. Increasing volume controls on Record Pad window doesn't seem to make any difference.  How important is quality of microphone? Need to purchase a more expensive one?  The small mic I have works just fine for Skype and other internet voice communication, even when not held at a distance.  No way I am going to purchase the full version unless you include more helpful instructions on usage of program.  How do I increase sound volume?

Please double check your sound device settings in Options->Record.

When it is recording, do you see the time moving? If yes, please make sure that you have the write access to that output folder

dis is peevin me off guys i just got the program and i try 2 test it by recording my voice for about 30 seconds and when i push stop some next window opnes up and i do not see the thing i recorded even if i go to the folder where i save it nothing is in there am i doin sumthin wrong sum1 plz help me man

There is no restriction on saving a mp3 file in the free version. What error message do you get? Have you installed the mp3 encoder component? You may want to download and install it from nch.com.au/components.

Hi, what error message do you get? To save a mp3 file, you need to install the component mp3el from our website at nch.com.au/components.

Hi, there is a bug with the Add Folder button in the Batch Converter. We are going to release a new version with this bug fixed in the next few days. From now until then, please use the Add Files button to browse for your files instead of the Add Folder button.

I am using the Batch processor successfully with one exception. 

 

If in Step 1 I use the Add Folder button, the files in the folder are listed but when I get to the end of the process and click Finish (end of Step 3) NOTHING HAPPENS. 

 

However, if I use the Add File button in Step 1 to add the same files, everything works fine....

 

Seems to be a bug for the Add Folder button.

Thank you for your comments. I think the version that you have installed is the Basic Free Edition. With the Basic Free version, you can try all features of WavePad (including Master Edition's features) during the trial period. After the trial period, you will still be able to use all basic features of WavePad but all the Master edition's features will be disabled unless you upgrade to the Master Edition.

You can check the version of WavePad by go to Help->About.

hi, please check the play control speed. Look under the Control menu, make sure that you select "Play Normal Speed"

You will need to use WavePad to move through the file finding the beginning and end of each item. Select the item and define it as a "region". Then select the option Copy region(s) to CD in the Region List window, the items will be copied as separate tracks.

Please make sure that you have selected the correct sound device in Settings->Audio Processing page.

i have sound on my speakers when using windows media player to play a track but no sound when track is loaded in to wavepad although the programme looks to be running ok .. just no sound

ive been trying to download wav pad, but i just get trying to  contact site yet, it wont download or nothingt it never gets anything . it never gets site contacted.

To download the FREE version, please select "Download WavePad" button on nch.com.au/wavepad. (not Download Master)

When I downloaded the software it said that it would be free, even after the free trial period except that the advance features would not be functional.  This does not seem to be the case

 

The software will not work unless you put in a purchased serial number.
