You cannot just simply copy the mp3el.exe to the component folder. Please download its full setup file from the below link:

Save it to your disk and then you simply double click to install it. You should get a message like "The component mp3el has been installed successfully"

Ask your computer administrator to set your default play device to None. Then if anything other than IMS attempts to play it will not play out the sound device.

This problem is because the file you are loading is too long. We are working on the "Auto split long file" feature in the next version of WavePad.

There is nothing bundled in the software itself. We have some other products that may be also useful for you when working with your audio files include :RecordPad Sound Recorder, Express Burn, Express Rip, Switch Audio converter.. If you buy WavePad and any of these products (as stated on our website) as a package, you will get a cheaper price than buying them alone.

Do you have many other programs that are running when you are using WavePad (including programs that are running in the background)? Try to close these programs and see what happens. It seems to be that some program has used all PC memory.

Can you please give us more details about the dll plugin that you try to load?

Yes, you can. Just play the file through the soundcard and select "Wave Out Mix" as the input channel in the Record Control window

It should work even you use the "Delete" key. Please make sure that you have the option "Automatically playback after any edit or effect" turned on in the File->Settings->Audio Processing page.

Which version of WavePad do you have? Download the latest version of WavePad from our website. Move the mouse over the start and end position of the selected region, the cursor will be changed to a double-pointed arrow pointing west and east. You can then hold the mouse left button and adjust the position. This allows u to adjust the selected region more accurately without moving the current position.

We are already aware of the fact that the user cannot change the current position within the selected region. We are working on it for future release of WavePad.

Go to Settings->general page and tick the option "Prompt for sample rate and channels" when creating a new file. This will allow you to specify the sample rate and channels for the new file.

Try to install the mp3 encoder from our website again at nch.com.au/components. By the way, how long is your file? The current version of WavePad cannot handle very long file. We are working to improve it in next version.

If it still doesn't work. Please tell us the format settings that you select.

Perhaps you should tell us what format is your file. If you play the file with other software (eg. Windows Media Player), does it work? You may also want to check how much free space you have on your hard disk.
