  1. What was seen in your "new" version was not letterboxed. It was squeezed horizontally, which has not been the case here. A letterbox has black bands on the top and bottom. Had it been letterboxed, it would have looked like the image below - adding those bands above and below the video, but retaining the correct aspect ratio As suggested earlier, please upload the finished project from the timeline - the one that exports incorrectly - link it here and someone will test it. Or link it in a PM to me. http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/ This should be relatively quick as it's a short production with a continuous shot. You can run an older VP version, but one that was released only within six-months of purchase can be registered with the original code. Those released later require an update fee. Older versions are available at http://OLDVERSIONDOWNLOAD.COM Of course, always back up your project and retain the original installer file. The latest VP version is here. Your completed project is still available at the link listed earlier.
  2. They are here. Share your project. http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/
  3. Your project apparently has clips with various resolutions. If auto-match doesn't show the desired resolution, set it manually. You will likely see that the letterbox/crop choices are greyed out (disabled) and the result will be what you chose.
  4. Drag the clip. But before letting up on the mouse button, press and hold the <alt> key. A gap will be left, instead of the clip snapping back.
  5. "Lifetime license." Not lifetime upgrades. Purchased versions do not expire. The subscription plan offers regular upgrades, for a monthly fee. From https://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/versions.html VideoPad Video Editor Versions To find out what version of the software you are currently using, click Help on the menu bar at the top of the program's window (not the Help button on the toolbar), and then click "About VideoPad Video Editor". Please be aware if you purchased more than 6 months ago you may need to purchase an upgrade to use the current version. For upgrade pricing go to https://www.nch.com.au/upgrade/index.html with your old registration ID number and Key. If you want to try the current version with the option to restore your older version, please backup your Program Files sub folder containing the software for Windows, or copy the app from your Applications folder to a backup location for Mac OS
  6. No you don't. You can reinstall your old version. It can usually be found in this path on the PC: "C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\VideoPad" If you don't have the installer at hand, find it here. Then register, if need be. Should problems arise, look here: https://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/support.html Upgrades are free for up to six months after purchase. You might test a later version that was released within the free upgrade window.
  7. Not seeing that here. VP 7.10 is running in the background, with a small project loaded. CPU Memory Disk Network GPU
  8. Please see my personal message.
  9. Nothing special was done here. Also tested a cropped version - a re-encoded export with default settings @29.97fps. Same good result. Experimenting with letterbox format will reveal why it can be useful for legacy format video. The feature is enabled only when applicable.
  10. Just click on the word "latest." A SAVE AS box should appear.
  11. The one-minute ISO has been pulled. No idea where https://postimg.cc/9rcKtJWm came from??
  12. 7.10 is the latest. If within six-months of purchase, there should be no upgrade fee, but retain your original installer.
  13. Downloaded the "original" 4K as well as the version with the new music. Loaded both into VP 7.10 and replaced the original sound track with the new. Exported as LOSSLESS, which maintained the quality of the source. No change in aspect ratio. Did you upload directly from VP to Vimeo, or create a file and then use their upload procedure?
  14. We'll take a look. But, as it is already a Blu-Ray movie, what processing did you intend in VP? The one-minute sample provided earlier was a standard-def file exported as a BD movie.
  15. Please send the PW in a personal message to me with a demo of both the temp intended look and the post-crop unwanted result. State the export settings for each. If you paid for support, it won't be ignored. As noted in the last graph here, you should have received a contact link. Other versions of the program may be found on your PC in this path... "C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\VideoPad" Or download from http://OLDVERSIONDOWNLOAD.COM
  16. VP offers a multitude of export encodings and resolutions. Often, "auto match" is a good res choice closely matching the source. Share a segment of your project (or the entirety, if it's not lengthy) and someone will check it out. Here's how... http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/
  17. Understand that my suggestions are not official NCH support; this is a user help forum. Please share your project, so someone can attempt to duplicate your result. Here's how... http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/ If it contains sensitive material you can send me a personal message. Be sure to share the uploaded file and include that link in your response. Because the project is lengthy, perhaps only a portion will display the same problem. If you find that to be the case, split out and delete the balance and then save and share. Be sure to save your original first.
  18. Recollect seeing a prompt to the effect that the newer version may exact a fee for registration. Yet, in any case, older versions are always available. On your PC they may be stored in this path: "C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\VideoPad"
  19. Assuming you reduced speed by 10% to 90, as opposed to normal 100%, tests here showed no sync problem using this VP version. Confirm that the "keep pitch unchanged" box and the one below it are both checked.
  20. Most issues that you experienced earlier have been remedied. Not to say that new ones don't crop up. Upgrades are free for up to a half-year after purchase. Tested the creation of a one-minute Blu-Ray movie ISO here, using version 7.10. No sync problem. Whether the shrink program would maintain that is unknown.
  21. It has been reported, as noted earlier in this thread with a suggested alternative... In lieu of using the fade transition use the TRANSPARENCY effect. Click the chevron and select the FADE OUT preset. Drag the slider to your desired fade start point. A five-second fade example on a ten-second clip (at the end of the sequence)...
  22. Other than enabled features, there's no difference between the free (trial) and paid versions, AFAIK. Download, install and, if need be, register this version and transitions should be okay. They are here.
  23. Suggest downloading and installing this version Then load the clip onto the timeline Apply green screen effect Drag the red preview screen slider to the desired frame Right-click in the preview window Click on Take Snapshot of Clip and select the desired resolution Here, that produces an image with transparency intact
