Don't lock. Group instead.
Select the clips that are to be moved in concert, then right-click one of the tracks and GROUP SELECTED CLIPS.
To select all clips on a track, click the first clip, hold down <shift> and click the last.
To multi-select individual clips, click the first, hold down <ctrl> and then select others one-by-one.

These files appear to be still missing. You may need to purchase additional storage space for large files.
-
Better. In this download the files listed below are missing and these mp4s have no data...
Supply those files for further analysis. The first minute of your project exports normally - using various codecs and quality settings.
You may have run out of drive space. Delete some content and send the missing files in a new folder.
-
Share the five minutes and we'll check it out. Just follow the procedure above. Takes patience, but most issues can be solved.
-
Share the project and someone will check it out. That usually works in solving issues, which may be caused by errors in editing, the software itself, or even hardware.
The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps...
- Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER.
- Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file.
- Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive, right-click the file and click SHARE. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view"
- Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared.
* Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.

Install this release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
If that doesn't clear things up, come back here. And be sure to Save Project File AS routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. From the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the caret to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar.

What Videopad version is being used? Try this one. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
Try opening OPTIONS | DISK tab and Clear Unused Cache Files, then load a project. This is a good idea prior to beginning a new project.
If the issue persists, come back here for more suggestions.

Try the apng route instead. Beyond that it appears that this is just the way it is - for now.
Step the original bin clip (no apng), whether it's been overlaid on the timeline or not, and the increment is .100, as shown below.
Stepping the timeline gives varying results, seemingly related to the nature of the video clip.
-
Perhaps there is a communication disconnect here. Yes, it steps. Can't say whether the numbers are 'wrong.'
This video is the middle of a 22-minute clip with stopwatch overlay for its entirety.
Even if this had failed to step, exporting the watch (from a blank sequence), then using the apng as the overlay would be quick, and seemingly solve the issue.
-
How would fixing the frame-step issue eliminate the need to create each stopwatch?
In the video above, stepping appears to be working correctly with that object. Tested repeatedly in v13.67. That video wasn't made with a apng overlay.
-
Perhaps your process is being misunderstood.
Exporting all of the overlays, which would have to be created in any case, takes only a few seconds.
The substituted apng can then be managed as a typical clip - including frame-stepping.
The Stopwatch frame-by-frame action doesn't seem to require this extra step...

Worth a glance, though many won't work, or only partially perform with Videopad.
-
A workaround that may have functionality for you - utilizing the typewriter effect...
In a blank sequence, compose the text, then export as an apng file. Overlay that file in the project.
Text then can be frame-stepped, sized, positioned, speed changed as desired.

Videopad ограничен выбором эскиза для клипа корзины или созданием снимка клипа.
Щелкните правой кнопкой мыши в окне предварительного просмотра корзины.

The problem is caused by a .001 gap. Go to Storyboard mode to see it. Right-click | DELETE. (The icons, which never appear between adjacent clips, should have clued me in.) Various transitions will result in a dip or crossfade between the two clips.
If you truly want the FROM clip to fade, and the TO clip to pop on, program a Transparency effect on the FROM clip.
Or, prior to programming the fade, expand the timeline almost fully with the slider at the bottom-right. Drag the TO clips to the right just slightly. Now program the FROM clip fade.
Glad it worked out.

The project contains some very high res and large files which may cause audio processing to take several minutes to cache.
There appears to be a fault in 13.67, which goes to black at about 5:00 in both PV and export, as you noted.
Use this release. Ignore any virus warnings.
-
Hard to say what occurred. Use the 64-bit release, especially if the project is lengthy or complex. Better handling of Windows memory.
-
There's no mandate to update if all is working well for you.
Install this release and see how it does.
If no improvement, please share a project that has the issue and someone will check it out. Just follow these steps...

The amplify effect is working normally in 13.67 here. Prior to loading the project, go to OPTIONS | DISK tab and Clear Unused Cache Files.
Also look under the Media tab to confirm that this box is checked...

Let's take a look at the project. Someone will run tests.

At this time (9/27) there's no Windows beta available. The mislabeled entries have been corrected.
Release numbers listed may not reflect the actual release #.
Right-click and check PROPERTIES | DETAILS.
-
Use the 64-bit release for large projects, and perhaps break them into smaller, exported projects - to be assembled as the final, later.
