  1. Similar to what you described...

Drag the new clip to the bin.

Create a new sequence by clicking the + sign to the right of the existing sequence tab.

Drag the clip from the bin to the new sequence.

    Export that sequence.

You can create multiple sequences, then export them all...  image.png

  2. The latest, as linked above, will run as a trial for a short time.  No harm in trying it.

Be aware that if you create a project with it, older releases may refuse to load it, unless a change is made to a file.

Close the program, reopen without loading anything and go to OPTIONS | DISK tab.  Clear Unused Cache Files -- then load the project.

If still no joy, do this, and we'll analyze what's wrong.  Share the project.  This is easy, quick and can be done privately.  Just follow these steps...

    •     Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left.  Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER.  Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER.
    •     Upload ---  Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER.    Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file.
    •     Get link --- Get a public link.  Right-click the file and click SHARE. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view"
    •     Share ---     Click COPY LINK | DONE.  Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me.  It won't be shared.

              *    Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES.  Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.

  3. How was the file created?  What Videopad version is being used?  Install this one.

If no success, this may be the fault of the clip itself, despite the fact that viewers may display it.

Convert it with the free Handbrake utility and see if the result loads normally.

If you share a file that has the problem it will be analyzed...

Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, right-click the link and Share.  Copy the result and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum.  When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view.

  4. Try this version.  Ignore any virus warning.

For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date.  After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee is required in order to register the newest.  Retain your old install file and registration info.  If there's an issue, you can always revert.

  5. That's very odd, especially for a straightforward project.

It's assumed that the video track has not been hidden image.png  and that the text color contrasts with the black background.

The best way to track down the issue is to share the project so others can analyze it.  The process is easy and can be private.  Just follow these simple steps...

  6. Sharing will help others try to replicate what your are seeing.  Just a file or two will do.

There have been no other reports of preview blurriness, AFAIK.

You might try installing this release.

  9. IMO, "same as input" should be good.  If the source was stereo, then the export should be as well.

Whatever the format or "high quality", AAC tops out at 192.  Note that the AVI options, shown above, use Mp3.

  10. Submit your content here (or in private to me via Personal Messenger) and we'll take a look.  Just follow the above instructions.

The split-screen process is generally straightforward.
