  1. Sorry, don't have an answer for you. Similar files have cropped up on occasion here. Check the documentation and support resources for the app used to capture the file.
  2. The AVI is corrupt. Try a different download method, application or format.
  3. Now you're talking about a move from a new BIN, not folder. Right-click on the Bin 1 clip and COPY ... or <ctrl-C> Click on the Video Bin tab. Right-click in the bin area and PASTE(clip) ... or <ctrl-V>
  4. Simply drag the clip from the new folder into the main bin. Then click the green arrow icon to see the result. Record_2021_08_01_10_58_24_170.mp4
  5. Someone will be glad to take a look. But you must make the link PUBLIC so anyone can view, instead of restricted, as it is now.
  6. Looks fine in 8.77 here Try 8.99, which should be within your six-month license window. Verify that your video driver and Direct-X are current... https://www.nch.com.au/kb/10265.html
  7. Those are the choices. Results were the same at Constant 60, Variable (SmartMax 60fps) and Variable (Min 30fps, Max 60fps). 29.97 (NTSC) also looked good.
  8. Humm...don't know what to tell you. Cannot replicate your result here. The only irregularity spotted is a very subtle chroma increase on the dancers at the end of the crossfade. Otherwise, no freeze frames (but for what was noted earlier), no jump cuts.
  9. Testing in both 10.60 32-and 64-bit, don't see that here. The pose just prior to the music likely utilized the FREEZE transition mode, which means that it will be frozen for the first half of the crossfade. Then the girls are relatively static until the music starts.
  10. How do you create empty tracks? Install this version and the issue may be resolved. It is here. Either drag the png file or right-click on it in the bin and make a placement choice from the drop-down menu.
  11. Install the Windows current version. That should take care of it.
  12. Looks just dandy here, both in PV and upon export. What version of VP is being used? Install the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  13. Doesn't do that here, as shown in the video above. Seamless.
  14. Overlap is working correctly. Linked A/V clips will stay in sync. Don't see a 'backup' link, but the project plays and exports flawlessly. There no discontinuity or black frame during the crossfade, using VP version 10.60. 1947721555_Act1Scene2-Spanish-Mazurka-vFix.mp4
  15. Just to add...the 32-bit release generally performs well. The 64-bit more capably handles ultra high-def, complex, lengthy projects. Get it here. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  16. If these clips are on track 1, switch to Storyboard mode and confirm that there are no gaps of snippets of other clips between them. Nat mentions the 'freeze' or 'overlap' choices that may appear if "ask" is the transition option and the clips do not have sufficient content to accommodate the crossfade. If FREEZE is chosen, the From clip will freeze halfway through the transition until the end...and the To clip be frozen at transition start until motion begins halfway through. With OVERLAP that won't happen, but video will be slightly shortened, which can throw off sync for UNlinked clips that have separate video and audio. Share these two clips, and someone will check them out. Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
  17. As noted earlier, click in the bin area or press <enter> after altering a transition duration. If that doesn't correct the issue, please upload and share the project as instructed above.
  18. There is one way to do what you want, but it's hardly worth the trouble... Create a project with a single, small file - perhaps a blank clip - and save it. Before editing a new project, first load the saved one, then delete the file it contains.
  19. Export quality settings are saved with a project, so if it's opened later there will be no need to make changes. But with new projects, the defaults will return.
  20. Yes, there can be odd behavior if the timeline is clicked immediately after changing duration of a transition, though what you see isn't seen here. Press <enter> or click in the bin area. Or simply drag the transition line edges to the desired length.
  21. Changing the transition time doesn't do that here - in repeated tests on different VP versions. Try it on another PC, if available. Let's see your project. Share it and someone will take a look. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  22. A weird one, never before seen here or reported. Try these measures... In the search box at the bottom-left of the Windows desktop, type "Mouse." <enter> Click the Additional Mouse Options link. Click the BUTTONS tab. Be sure that the Click Lock box isn't checked. https://content.invisioncic.com/r33241/monthly_2021_07/image.png.6340201d91c152defb10327a4ccfca90.png In Videopad, under OPTIONS | DISK tab, Clear Unused Cache Files. Close Videopad. Using Windows Explorer (the file manager), locate these directories (folders) and delete all their files... "C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\Components" "C:\Users\<PC name>\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\Components" Install this version. Please report back.
  23. Using 10.57(64), am unable to replicate this after applying CROSSFADE to several clips in a two-dozen clip project and repeatedly changing their duration. Grouping makes no difference. Be sure the PC video driver and Direct-X are current... https://www.nch.com.au/kb/10265.html Be sure that you are not dragging the red line. That will definitely create a blue selection area. Press ESC to remove it. Instead, drag the arrow. Provide a video of what you see if possible and share it here... Upload the video file to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view." Record_2021_07_27_14_09_05_780.mp4
  24. The file that you linked above is no good, as it won't play in any app here. The functioning file was grabbed from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=beCC9xJjLZQ WHY your files are corrupt isn't apparent. As suggested earlier, perhaps there's an alternative download setting for ITunes that will succeed. Click their support link above. The fault isn't with Videopad.
  25. What are the aspect ratios of the source files? Share a few and we'll take a look... Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view." Also note these EFFECTS options...
