  4. Hi, You can restore your data if you have a backup file. Here is how you can do this: 1.Login to your account using root user credentials. Root user is the first user created when installing the Copper for the very first time. 2. Select the 'Restore data...' submenu item under 'Tools' menu. 3. Confirm by clicking 'Yes' on the popup query message if you want to continue restore operation. (See 'Warning' above) 4. Select the parent folder where Copper backed up data is pren. Generally, the parent folder name has format 'Copper-Backup-YYYY-MM-DD'. 5. Click OK to start restoring.

  8. Hi, The MAPI option is only available with some Windows-based programs (Outlook, Thunderbird, Mailbird, etc). When the MAPI option is selected, email is sent using your default email program. The emails will be available in the history of the client (i.e., in the Sent box) You must have MAPI-compliant email software installed. Mozilla Thunderbird and Outlook(*) are MAPI compliant. If you do not have MAPI software installed, simply download and install Thunderbird (free) from www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/. You'll have to set up your email software as the default MAPI server. In Outlook use Tools / Options / Make Default. In Mozilla Thunderbird go to Tools, Options and tick 'Use Thunderbird as the default mail application' in the General tab. Outlook Problems: Some versions of Outlook cause problems because the automated send feature is disabled, or it prompts you every time it needs to send a message (which defeats the purpose of automated email!). The easiest solution to this problem is to simply download the free version of Thunderbird from Mozilla.org. You will still be able to use Outlook as your main email application but you can set up Thunderbird simply for sending automated mail. You will need to allow the sending of email by another application. The first time an email is sent you will be prompted if this is to be allowed. You should check the checkbox to allow this always.
  9. Hi, All NCH software licenses are single-user licenses. This means that the license can be used only on one computer/user profile. The license can be transferred to another computer, but if you want to use the program on multiple computers you will need to have separate licenses. The other option would be to use the Web Access feature which allows the program to be accessible to multiple users on different locations. You can check the video tutorial from the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_zbDJwW5WU&t=8s

  13. Hi, Unfortunately no. All NCH software licenses are single-user licenses and they can be used only on one computer/user profile. The license can be transferred from one computer to another, but if you need the software on 2 computers you will need to have separate licenses.

  16. Hi, You may try the steps below: Uninstall Debut, then delete 3 folders named "Debut" and 1 named "Components" from these locations: **C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\Debut\ **C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\Debut\ **C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\Components **C:\ProgramData\NCH Software\Debut\ **If you can't find any of the folders, just continue. If you can't find the AppData folder, set Windows to show hidden files and folders with the steps from this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files. After that please reinstall the program. If the issue occurs again you can try the following: 1. Free your space on your hard drive: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/free-up-drive-space-in-windows-a18fae02-a0fa-8df9-9838-8970f9939de4 2. Use MSConfig and run the Selective startup:" https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-client/performance/system-configuration-utility-troubleshoot-configuration-errors
  17. HI @Jeff Neumann, You can limit the CPU usage of a process which would use CPU 100% down to 50% (or any percentage you like). You can try the following steps: - Go to Control Panel. - Hardware and sound - Power options - Edit plan settings - Change advanced power settings - Processor power management - Maximum processor state and lower it to 80% or whatever you want. Using software that measure CPU temperatures like 'Speed fan' you will see that temperatures drop.

  22. Hi @Valentine Use the following template for importing data in the program: https://files.fm/u/9yze54294 From the looks of it, there might be an issue with delimiters or file format. Try using CSV file format which is something NCH supports.

  24. @CorB @Pazekal @digimon900 The latest version of the program is compatble with Big Sur.
  25. Depending on the software version of the program and your current version of the operating system you are using, there might be compatibility issues. There is an option to set the program compatibility. Go to the program icon, right-click on it and select Properties. In the newly opened window select the Compatibility tab, check the Compatibility Mode and from the drop down menu select Windows version. Try and experiment with which version is it running without issues.
