It's the actual recording volume that's affected and would reflect on the exported audio (there's a different slide bar on the same panel for the playback volume). If you can test the program (free demo), you'd notice that if you record tracks with different dB levels while having the recording volume (from source) the same, the volumes are different after export. It may even distort a bit at -45db so you may want to adjust your recording device volume along and test a few exports.

Hello there. This basically sets the recording volume level of the track (it's like a preset for ease of use). If you'd try setting it to the highest and lowest, you'd see the difference in volume during test recording. You'd always want to test the levels first. Also note that this will only affect the track.

video out of sync in MiniPlayer and hidden in main player
MakubX replied to Mattcaption's topic in Express Scribe
Hi there, which video formats are you having issues with exactly and does it occur to all videos (or of different format) you load? If this is a new purchase (6 months at least), you could try reinstalling the program and see if the situation improves. Installer: https://www.nch.com.au/components/essetup.exe If no joy, best to contact technical support for that: https://www.nch.com.au/support/supportcontact.html (free) -
Hi, If this isn't resolved yet and for the reference of others, it's MENU> Tools> Options> Ruler> Uncheck Show Ruler Guide

What errors are you getting exactly and how are you adding these files? If you could include those to your ticket along with a screenshot of the error/settings used and steps taken, support should be able to better resolve the issue for you. https://www.nch.com.au/support/supportcontact.html -

For existing invoices, it'd be easier to start from the invoice list and sort it from unpaid to paid by clicking the Status tab. Select the Invoice in question from the Invoice list> Apply payment and you should see the status changes to paid for fully paid transactions but if this is not the case, best to send a support ticket here so you are assisted better: https://www.nch.com.au/support/supportcontact.html

Best to send a support ticket for that to either the DE or EN support links with screenshots showing the issue if possible..

Hi, The program does have the option to convert files to the same location as source if that is what you are referring to and support both formats http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/doxillion/win/formats.html You may test the program too here: https://www.nchsoftware.com/documentconvert/doxpsetup.exe

Alright, I see what you mean. I think changing the color on the Colorize layer should automatically change the color on the existing area but I've sent a suggestion/clarification for this feature. You may also add suggestions here to improve the program: https://www.nch.com.au/suggestions/

Hi, this video tutorial should help you with that, steps included: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGAsSQp6WGM

It's an older version basically and is currently the only way to get light theme. You should be able to send a suggestion here for that (theme chooser or the like) though: https://www.nch.com.au/suggestions/ And you are welcome

While there's no way of changing the program theme at this time, you can send a support ticket so you are sent the version that does have the Light theme: https://www.nch.com.au/support/supportcontact.html

Hi, As per Help, to merge 2 layers, they must be adjacent to each other. Select the topmost layer, and then select Edit -> Merge Layer Down. The 2 layers will then be combined into a single layer, retaining the name of the bottom layer. Note: The Merge feature allows you to combine 2 layers (and all the elements in them) into a single layer. It also will preserve the order of each element, so if one element is "on top" of another, it will stay that way after the layers are merged. The program doesn't seem to support this at this time. You should be able to send that as a suggestion here: https://www.nch.com.au/suggestions/
