  1. ok a bit of a work around. make it 7.1 remove 2 channels (forgot which 2 I removed) then you have a 6 channel file. this made all speakers work including sub. Now just have to figure which channel is what and then can remove bass and manipulate from there. Done
  2. so this effect does not work. It should make all the channels needed, but without the bass below 200hz and the sub channel should have have the sound below 200hz only. Yes some systems can handle the bass in all speakers but the default setting should not have this. This effect is very close to being an awesome feature but needs more work. Please advise if this is an improvement coming soon or being considered at all, thank you.
  3. ok got sub woofer working by adding LFE and removing the speaker out front that is just above the added LFE, which I was asumming was the sub to begin with but apparently not. Only problem is, now I lost the left rear. There is something not co-relating, in my understanding, in regards to the picture and the files it makes. Any thoughts on this?
  4. when using the surround sound effect it makes a file that does not have a sub woofer channel. Even if you click the Add LFE button. Is there a certain process to follow to make a surround sound file that has all 6 channels?
  5. support says as below: "Hello rockerron, When you create a 5.1 audio file on WavePad, what the program exports is a Stereo file with the audio panning of the 5.1. WavePad does not have an option to create real 5.1 audio files with all 6 audio channels." My response is: why does wavepad have the surround effect if it does not work? So am I to think there is no way to make a surround sound file in this wavepad program. I bought the Masters edition.
