  1. First you may want to confirm if the issue happens with all files you load or just with some. If this happens just to some files you may want to check if this happens to specific file formats. Are you applying any effects to the audio you are having issues with.

For further assistance on this issue you may want to actually contact the NCH software support team.

  2. Krisflg8r this feature was added on the latest version (6.59) but on the version previously released the program scrolls the cursor and not the music. If you wish to install the version 6.55 you may use this link to download the installer; I advise downloading the installer with Microsoft Edge since the hosting website may have certificates conflicts with Chrome or other browsers: http://www.oldversiondownload.com/oldversions/wavepad-6-55-2016-08-03.exe

I will forward your feedback about this to our developers.

  3. You may want to try using different formats to export the videos to confirm if this happens across all formats or if it is tied to one specific. Also, check if the issue happens with videos of all length or if this would happen mostly with larger videos. Try playing the videos using different media players to confirm if the frame drop happens with one specific player. In case the issues remain you may want to contact NCH Software support team to get more assistance.

  4. Hi Maghdalena, when that happens is because the input volume is too high, so basically what you may want to do is to lower the input volume. To do that you may go to Wavepad > Tools > Options > Recording and click on Open Windows Record Mixer. Once the Sound window comes up you may click to select the microphone or input device you are using and then click on Properties > Levels and use the slider to lower the input volume. Please try it out to find the volume level that better fit your needs and hardware.

  5. Is the issue happening only with that one audio file or does it happen to all the audio files you try to load? If the issue is only happening with that one file then there may be something wrong with the file. Confirm it plays fine on any other media player like Windows Media player or Wavepad. In case the file plays fine on the other players you may want to try saving the file to a different folder and with a different name and try loading it again. If you wish you may install Wavepad Audio editor from this link http://www.nch.com.au/components/wpsetup.exe and try saving the file as mp3 using that program. In case the issues remain you may want to contact NCH software support team for further assistance.

  6. The issue with the loop information it may be because the metadata that holds the loop info is not compatible with Wavepad.

About the loop mode, you can actually select a portion of the whole audio file, go to Edit > Repeat Loop and you can select how many times you want to repeat the section selected.

  7. In this case first you may want to try deleting the cache memory on the program as well as all the temporary files in your computer that you may not need as that may affect the performance of your programs. To clear the cache memory on the program you may go to Options > Disk and click on Clear unused cache files. In case the issue remains you may want to test creating a different project to confirm if the issues happen to all projects or if that one particular got corrupted.

  8. Hello, if you are using a USB microphone then please try using a different USB port to connect it and make sure the microphone is recognized by your computer. You may also want to check under Microsoft recording devices to confirm your microphone is showing and selected there. You can also contact NCH software support team for further assistance.

  9. Hello, In this case you may want to try deleting the browser's cache or try using a different browser to open the page you are recording from. Also, when you are capturing the screen you may want to increase the frames per second on the program by going to Options > Video > Screen Capture. In case the issues remain after trying these steps then you may want to contact NCH software support for further assistance.

  10. Hello, the option for Web access can be enabled only on the Desktop or laptop versions of the software, but it can be accessed from any device that has internet access, be it a tablet or smarthphone as well as computers.

  11. Hello, in Mixpad there is no option to edit the beats per minute (BPM) on the clip but we have a program called Zulu which is a DJ mixing software. In that program you may load the clip you want to modify and right click on it, from the context menu you may select Edit BPM and there you can modify it. When you save the changes it will save the new BPM for that file and you could load it again in Mixpad.

  12. Yes, the message building preview would show when your computer takes too long to render the images and audio for playback, this usually happens when the cache and temporary files folder is too full. What you may want to do is to open Photostage and go to Options > General > Cache and click on the button that says Clear Cache. Also you would see the Default cache folder path shown there as the first option under Cache so you may go there and delete all the files there so you can make up space for newer data.
