solved Making black background transparant

I have a small animation with a black background, can I make that black background transparent? Or should I use another background colour?

If the black is clean and doesn't appear in the animation itself, try chromakeying it out.  Instead of green, choose black.

I used the green screen effect and set the colour to black, worked perfect :)

Hi

If you have to use it again remember that you can pick ANY color on display ANYWHERE on the screen if you use the pipette.  Just click the pipette and move the mouse (which now becomes a pipette)  to any shade/color on the screen. In this way you can make any shade transparent.
