  1. Hi,

Digital Rights Management, or DRM, is a class of technologies that allow rights owners to set and enforce terms by which people use their intellectual property.

Rights owners are typically copyright-holding companies like music, film, book or software publishers. They use DRM to control how documents, entire software programs, or even e-mails are used.

NCH Software does not support tampering with DRM Protected Files.

Tampering with such files is illegal.

  2. Hi,

To successfully use the Flip Horizontal/Vertical option, ensure you select the element you wish to flip before accessing the flipping options. If the options are greyed out, it is likely because no element has been selected for flipping.

    1. Click first on the Home tab.
    2. Click on the Select option (this button looks like a mouse cursor).
    3. After clicking on the option "Select", click on the object on your drawing that you want to Flip. After you click on this object it will become yellow.
    4. Click on the Effects tab.
    5. Click on the option Flip Horizontal.

  3. Hi,

To create the combined slideshow, start by exporting the first slideshow in the desired file format. Then, create and export the second slideshow in the same way. Next, incorporate both exported slideshows into a new file format for the final combined version.

  4. Hi,

When attempting to open a .spj file for editing, make sure it remains in the same folder as all other project files, including images, audio, and video. If these files are not in the same folder, the program may not be able to read them and open the project.

To resolve the issue, you need to create a folder, and place in this folder the .spj file, image, audio, video files used in the project.

To avoid this issue in the future, save the file using the following steps: Menu > File > Backu up Project File to Folder > Choose the location on your computer where you want to save the file > Click Select Folder.

  5. Hi,

Please upload your file in PhotoStage > Click on Text > Text Overlay. A new window will open with text settings, allowing you to remove the underline, change the font, font size, colors...etc.

  6. Hi,

1, To open the Eraser, click Eraser under the Edit tab. This will open the Brush Tools dialog that contains the restore brush and the eraser.

    2. Click and drag on your image where you would like to erase or restore.

    3. Use the Brush Size slider to adjust the size of the cursor and so erase or restore more or less of the original image in one sweep of the cursor.

    4. The Brush Strength slider set all the way to the right will delete or restore the image under the cursor completely. As the slider is adjusted to the left, the strength of the erase or restore diminishes until they have no effect.

    5. The Brush Hardness slider allows you to adjust the strength of the eraser or restore brush with the radius of the cursor. If the slider is all the way to the right, then the same strength will apply evenly over the entire radius of the cursor. As the slider is moved to the left, the strength of the brush decreases with increasing radius of the cursor. When fully to the left, the strength of the brush is a tenth at the cursor edge as it is at the cursor center.

    6. Click the Close button in the upper right corner to close the Brush Tools. Any layer that had an eraser applied to it will have an eraser icon on the layer title. You can reopen the Brush tools by clicking this icon.

Here is a video tutorial showing how this feature works:

  7. Hi,

The update is optional. If you decide to install the latest software version covered by your license, I suggest contacting the NCH technical support team for assistance:
    https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html

Regarding the issue you are facing with the noise, try to play those files locally on your computer (you can try VLC Media Player) and check if the same issue occurs.

If the bar is orange instead of green, you may have just changed the color of this track. To switch it back to green, simply click on the color box on the track and you will see various options to choose from. I have attached a screenshot for reference. https://files.fm/u/mr594v665x
