  1. Hi @Jeff Jewett,

Please be aware that in order to open the project on your computer that was created in PhotoStage, all elements that you used in your project (images/videos/audio files) need to be in the same folder as the project. If one of the elements (video/audio/image) is missing, the project will not open because it can not read the one file that is missing.

In order to avoid this situation in the future, when you finish you project click Menu->File->Back up Project File to Folder. This will create a folder on your computer that will include all elements (videos/audio files/images) that you used for the project and the project itself.

The other method would be to simply Export your file and you can later play it with your player.

  2. Hi @lawgbl,

Most likely you used the demo version which last limited time and as the trial period expired the program will not allow you to export the file without the license. In order to save your project you can click Menu->File->Back up Project File to Folder.  You can share your slideshow by uploading the file on the following link: https://files.fm/
After uploading please share the link with us so we can access it.

  3. Hi,

The message "Building Preview" indicates that your computer needs more time to render the image you used for your project. This could occur if the image/video is more demanding.

I would suggest you to close all other programs on your computer while working on your project.

  4. Hi,

Debut automatically detects when a full screen application, such as a game, is started. It will optimize settings for the full screen application. Recording will be restarted every time you switch between a full screen game and the desktop.

Please note: If you are playing a game which is stressing your computer and you want to improve the video recording frame rate, you can try to use the Fast Capture mode.

  5. Hi,
You may try the steps below:
Uninstall VideoPad, then delete 3 folders named "VideoPad" and 1 named "Components" from these locations:
    **C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\VideoPad\
    **C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\VideoPad\
    **C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\Components
    **C:\ProgramData\NCH Software\VideoPad\
**If you can't find any of the folders, just continue.

After this you can install the software one more time and use another output format.
