I recently recorded a video that I plan to upload to youtube (And I'm very sorry if I'm in the wrong forum) I used VideoPad to edit, and after every day, I would export my project as an mp4 so I would have a backup in case the project decided not to work. But once I was finally finished editing and I wanted to export it for the last time, it wouldn't let me. Instead, it said that I had to buy Videopad. When I first downloaded it, though, it said that it was free, and some elements cost money. But when I had exported my video before, it had never said that eventually I'd have to pay for it. Is there a way to export my video in the free version, or will I have to buy Videopad?

Hello, There is music available to use when creating a video in videopad pro.... great, but is the music copyrighted, or is it fair use material? I don't want to get a strike on YouTube if I use this music. Can anyone let me know? Have you used any of it on YouTube? I would also like to know the correct attribution for any music used from Video Pad, is there a sample anywhere? Thanks in advance for any assistance. -
so i made a gaming video with my friend and when i was editing it everything was fine i could hear our voices and i put some backround music in. THEN when i was posting it on youtube, i noticed that when i went to see the vid on vlc, i could hear the backround music but not the voices. then when the video posted it was the same thing. please help.

I am a complete novice with editing videos, but i am slowly learning on photo pad editor. I am struggling, trying to find out how if possible to make still image videos and moving videos that are from say 2-12 hours long from short scenic videos, stills. I want to do these for You tube. I do the usual draging images into the timeline and copy paste them but this is such a slow process when i want to do hours long videos, is there an auto system for this or anyway i can speed up making the video longer in quicker time?

I'm trying to upload my first video to my youtube channel. And every single time I attempt to it says "Your account has no channels to upload to". But every time I go to youtube, I clearly have two channels that are both verified and give me the option to upload a video from my hard drive if i so choose. Is there something I'm missing?

I am a pastor of a small church and COVID-19 has forced us to depend wholly on online communications. I have had good experiences putting the worship service together in VideoPad. My difficulty is that when I attempt to upload the video to YouTube, I get a fail message stating that I need to create a YouTube channel. That's not correct - I have a YouTube channel. In order to get the videos to YouTube, I have to move them from VideoPad to an intermediate location such as GoogleDrive and then over to YouTube. That process is very very slow for me. The initial upload from VideoPad to the intermediate program usually takes about an hour and then it's another 30 - 45 minutes to upload the video from there to YouTube. Yep, slow connection here in the wilderness of north central Missouri. How can I get VideoPad to recognize that I do indeed have a YouTube channel and that's where I'm trying to upload videos to? Hallo! Ich nutze zur Zeit die Testversion von VideoPad Editor. Wenn ich ein Video geschnitten habe und es exportieren möchte, wähle ich meinen Youtube Account aus, gebe mein Passwort ein und fülle alle Bereiche (Titel, Beschreibung etc.) aus. Dann müsste ich nur mehr auf "Zulassen" drücken. Dieser Button bleibt jedoch verblasst und funktionslos. Wie kann ich das Problem lösen? LG

Am I the only person who just recently created a video and tried to upload directly to Youtube and Google has block the upload authentication because it sees NCH Video Software as unsafe for Google?

Hi guys, I need some help/advice please, I'm trying to export a fairly large file to YouTube, every other one I've tried exporting has gone fine, this one keeps failing on me, it gets through the initial upload screen, then when it tells me the progression of the upload in kbps it gets to 13% and then failss every time, is there a fix for this? I'm a Youtuber and I need to get this video uploaded, any help would be very much appreciated, thanks in advance

How can I determine what YouTube Channel VideoPad will export to when I want to upload a new video....there doesn't seem to be a way to change from one channel to another when a person has more than one channel. Made a new video, tried to upload to where I normally upload the video to YouTube, but it suddenly went to a different YouTube channel I own. Any help would be most appreciated.

I've tried multiple times to capture my screen for upload to YouTube. It always works, but the quality is crap. Can someone give me the recommended settings or tell me what I am doing wrong? This is my latest attempt to screen capture and upload.

We've been using Debut Screen Capture software and editing in Videopad to upload to Youtube. Last week our computer failed so have just bought a new HP laptop and bought new copies of Debut and Videopad. So fair we've created two videos and when uploaded to youtube (through videopad) both are showing in 3D, instead of 2D, which is what we want. The video is in 2D on videopad, so something is happening on export and upload. When the export to youtube popup opens the "3D video (top to bottom)" checkbox is greyed out, but not checked. If I check the 360 video checkbox I can then check the 3D one - but I don't want to, I just want the video to stay in 2D! Is videopad adding 3D metadata to the file on export, and if so, how do I make it stop doing it? The games are not being played in 3D, and the Debut clips are not being recorded in 3D. I've looked through all the settings and help information I can find but I can't find anything that tells me what to do. Thank you

Hi gang, I've just tried to upload a couple of videos to YouTube that I edited in VideoPad 4.48 on a Windows PC: a 5 minute clip from a recent comedy show I did, and a full one-hour video of the whole show. The 5 minute clip uploaded without problems. The one-hour video though came up with "Failed" in the export queue after spending over an hour generating and uploading. It seems like something went wrong at the very end. When I view the video in YouTube Creator Studio, I see a blue bar at the top saying: "Thank you! Your upload is complete. Refresh the page once the video is done processing to see the video player and thumbnails." It's been like that for over 7 hours now so I don't think it's ever going to complete. My workaround is to export to a video file and upload to YouTube separately, but I was wondering how to diagnose this. The error message isn't all that helpful. I know I'm not running the latest VideoPad version, but my use has been a bit sporadic and so my version is more than 6 months old. I've already paid to upgrade a couple of times and don't really want to pay again just to see if this is fixed. If there was an option to pay extra to get lifetime upgrades, I would have done that originally. My YouTube account is verified, so that's not the problem. Any suggestions? Thanks, Graham

I really like VideoPad, but it's frustrating that I can't work while uploading to YouTube. Anyone else wish VideoPad could spawn a background process to do the uploading and return focus to the main UI so I can keep working on other videos? Cheers, Graham

Hey! So I added a small "glitch" to my video for visual effect to tie the music to the clip. Basically just a few .5 second black flashes over the existing clip. When I export the file and watch on my computer, it's there. But when I upload to Vimeo or Youtube, it disappears. I shifted the "glitch" over to another clip to test it out, and you can see it then. What can I do to fix this? Thanks

I have croped a video and am trying to export it to upload it to youtube. I am trying to get the right image size. But the video is not filling the screen. There is a big black frame around the video although I chose to resize the video when iwas asked just Before the export . Pleas see the video on youtube: you see the film is small in the middle. How shall I make tthe film bigger ? I have chosen different fps (720 and 1080 in youtube format ) in the export menu. Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi guys, so ive been using videopad for about just over 6 months now and its a nice simple to use video making software, however at the moment i cannot make a 1080p yt video as everytime i go to export it just fails straight away, the only thing that would be different to my other videos is that im adding audio that was recorded through the record option at the top of the program along with video recorder through debut. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I need to transcribe sign language videos - control video using foot pedal (stop, rewind 10 sec, play) so I can watch and type text of what is being said. I have Infinity IN-USB-2 foot pedal, tried downloading Express Scribe which recognizes the pedal, also Pedable which didn't recognize the pedal. I'm struggling with the process I had in mind: 1. Does Infinity IN-USB-2 foot pedal allow me to do this? 2. Can I transcribe a YouTube video? Or only open video files? 3. Needed functions: play, stop and auto backstep/loop i.e. going back 10 seconds. Would appreciate your input. Anyone out there who can tutor via Skype text or ? David

Why did VideoPad 2.41 render so much faster then the current version? Is that any way my videos to render fast like 2.41? I tried downloading that version, but it's not compatible with my laptop. So I'm force to use the current version.

My short videos are now ready to move out of my VideoPad and be uploaded to YouTube. Is there a tutorial that will show me how to do this? I did it once but I have forgotten. I believe first the videos must be prepared for uploading. Then the actual uploading. Where are the instructions for these things. I don't want to mess up now.

Hoping I can get some help. I absolutely love the interface and functionality of VideoPad - I'm a youtube hobbyist and it has everything I need and is really easy to use. Having said that, I produced my first video tonight and there was a significant drop in quality from the source to the produced video. The video looks great on YouTube: It seems to lose some quality on the download - I don't know why... There is some loss of quality on the download (not sure why) then when I encode it gets worse. I have set the quality to the highest and chosen 1080p 60fps in the encode settings. When I create a video which has just a picture as its image rather than an actual video clip, when I upload it to YouTube, the image doesn't show, the screen is just black, however the audio plays fine. My last successful 'picture video' was January 2013. I tried to upload one in August 2013, and the screen was black (the image shows for a split-second at the start). I hoped it was a one-off, but I did another one today and uploaded it, and it's happened again. Googling shows someone with the same problem in May 2013, so it would seem something has changed with VideoPad or YouTube between January 2013 and May 2013, and now we have this bug. I've tried .avi, .wav and .asf, tried a different frame rate and a different resolution, no difference. The video is fine with other video editors. This is definitely a VideoPad problem.

Hi- I have MOV files that I created a video with. When I uploaded to Youtube I had considerable loss in quality (horrible pixalation that is not in the original) so I purchased your pro version in order to upload directly in the hope it would be better that way. Well, for one, despite my log in info being correct and up to date, I get an error message saying NoListYouTube or something like that. So I upload the flv file that is automatically saved at that point and it also has incredible loss of quality. Now I have the new version uploaded and can't get the edited footage to load - what happened? The whole point was so that I could save the project with the new version- now I cannot even get my edited work on the screen! PLEASE HELP! And please, tell me if you know, why the incredible loss of quality from my laptop to what gets saved by Videopad and what gets uploaded to youtube? I have used videopad before and did not encounter it this bad.
