Testing v13.30

I've been using version 10.16 and it has been o.k. for me, the bugs I can work around

But now I have an audio issue and videocard support problems, so I'm trying version 13.30+

So far it's ok, but the height of the tracks is higher, and now a project no longer fits my 1080p laptop screen.

I know I can collapse the audio track, and I sometimes use this option. But I would like the audio tracks to be the same size as in v10.16

Does anyone know how to make this happen?

You can change the sizes of the video and audio tracks by dragging two little control icons, see this screenshot . 

I hope this is, what you was looking for.

No, I'm aware of that option. But in version 10.16, and also other older ones, the default height of an audio track is just lower.

In some 13.30 installs there's this new feature, and default audio track size is larger than in 10.16.  Can't please everyone.😉

So you probably mean the height, if there are several audio tracks (red lines show the difference): screenshot

I guess that is hardcoded and can't be changed...

I mistakenly was using the 32bit version of videopad. (v13.30)

And after installing the 64 bit version, the height, and look, of the audio tracks is back to "normal".

But I also installed that same 64bit version on an other laptop, and that one shows 3 horizontal dots just below the peak audio level indicator.

I believe they are for adjusting the height of the audio tracks. In my opinion a rather useless feature.

Installing the 64 bit version, also mostly, seem to fix an issue with digital artefacts.

Mostly, but not completely  They are probably related to the nividia k1100m processor.

Software rendering is better, but also slower.

With each 32- or 64-bit install there can be slight differences in features and UI.

At this writing, multiple audio tracks are taller when the three dots are available than when they are not.
