My hardware : - AMD Ryzen 9 (24 Cores) - 64 Gig RAM - Solid State drive (Faster on the market) - GeForce GTX Video Card Each time i am working on a video (cutting in scenes) , when i a working my CPU reach 95 to 100% and everything is very slow (Videopad Not Responding)... After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. What is the resolution of the bulk of the source files? What is the length of the project? If you share it, someone will be glad to take a look. The process is easy, quick and can be private. Just follow these steps... 1. With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. 2. Locate the saved, numbered folder. No need to upload the export or VPJ files. Upload it to a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* 3. Get a shared, public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. Click the blue "Change to anyone with the link..." Then click COPY LINK | DONE. 4. Paste that link here, or click the folder, above top-right in this forum, and message it to me. This is private and won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Uberprutser Posted October 13, 2020 Share Posted October 13, 2020 VP love to create cache files and gobble up cpu cycles. At some point it will become almost unworkable. I'm almost there, the playhead now starts to lag behind when playing the time line :( (my save files are now 960kb and the project is about 90 minutes long) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My project have around 90 minutes... and when i come back to the biginning the lag starts. I am thinking of trying another product to see the difference. A bit much program for my spec computer And I have no idea how it preforms on longer projects. But on short projects it runs better then vp despite running it from a traditional harddrive.
