  1. Hello @Highest Potential - There is no apply button for the effects. Once you have set the volume slider, it would automatically apply the effect as long as the effect is applied or the green light is turned on beside the effect name.

    Music Editing

Hi, You should be able to delete the audio clip as long as it is in the audio track and not linked to the video clip. Please use the instructions below to setup PhotoStage and erase its cache: Go to "Options > General", then click "Clear Cache" and click OK. Then restart PhotoStage. Please let us know if this helps. Thank you.
  7. Hello, Please go to PhotoStage 'Options' once more and check if it did save the changes you made. If not, please try to change it again then make sure to click on OK to save changes. If it will have the same issue, try to restart PhotoStage. Based on my experience, sometimes, you need to restart the software for these default settings to be changed (it should not be that way).
  8. Hello, You may try to do a clean install. You may try the steps below: Uninstall PhotoStage, then delete 3 folders named "PhotoStage" and 1 named "Components" from these locations: **C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\PhotoStage\ **C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\PhotoStage\ **C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\Components **C:\ProgramData\NCH Software\PhotoStage\ **If you can't find any of the folders, just continue. After that, restart your computer and reinstall the program using this link: https://www.nchsoftware.com/slideshow/pstagesetup.exe Once done, restart your system one more time. If you will have the same issue, I would recommend reaching out to the NCH Software technical support team. You may reach out to them here: https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html
  9. Hi Paul, It is normal that when you click the "Add/Edit Text" option you would get a checkerboard background on the 'Preview' window. You may move the Text Overlay editor pop-up so you can see the 'Preview Window' but you should also be able to see on your slide that you are trying to overlay the changes that you are inputting on the Text Overlay editor.

  11. Hi, I don't believe that the NCH Support team does have a list of free 64-bit VST or VSTi that works well with MixPad as those are third-party and the list is subject to change from time to time.

NCH is always open to suggestions. Please do not hesitate to fill out this link for any suggestions: https://www.nch.com.au/suggestions/index.html

  20. Once you have added the audio file on WavePad, you may go to 'Edit' tab then select 'Split'>'Split into Components Channel', if the file originally in stereo, there will be new added tabs on WavePad. In total, there will be 3 tabs, the original file, the left channel and right channel. You may then save them separately as mono or as you prefer.

    scrub option

Hi, You just need to click on Scrub again or press F6 to turn off/on the Scrub feature. When playing it normally, make sure to use the normal play button on the far right part play button. Hope this helps.
  24. On Debut, please go to 'Options' and under the 'Audio' tab, please check 'Speakers' and/or 'Microphone'. If still this will not work, please set your sound card or "Stereo Mix" option as your Windows default recording device before trying again. Go to Control Panel > Sound > Recording menu > select your sound card or Stereo Mix and set it as default. If these options are not listed, right click on the blank area, select "Show disabled devices", look for the option, select, click "Set default", click OK. When ready, go to Debut options > Audio > check mark Microphone and Speakers boxes and click OK to retest. Thank you.
  25. This should be fixed by setting your USB chipt to FAT32 format. If that will not work, you may try to use a different encoder settings upon export. Try MPEG4 or H264.
