  1. 13.14 no longer repetitively normalize a file. However, there are 2 problems. 1, it still over normalize and make clipping sounds. I include the captured file of 13.09 vs 13.14 here. You can see the 13.14 one shows clipping.

Another problem is when you zoom in the 13.14, after certain level of zooming the audio files will display as flat lines!

  2. I've tested VP 13.10 and it has equal H265 hardware encoding as the H264 hardware encoding GPU utilization. :) Good job, VP!

I compared to adobe premiere pro and the utilization rate on the same video without effects, are the same. With effects, CUDA has an advantage in exporting, like the sharpen effect in adobe PR Pro is a lot faster than the VP sharpen effect. It seems that when the effect used on the video can be done by GPU in VP, like color correction, then the speed difference between CUDA supported PR Pro and VP is less pronounced. CUDA still holds an advantage on the latter case. Also when there's overlay / scaling, VP's speed drops significantly but PR PRO still retains the same speed by CUDAing it through.

As I mentioned since 11.32, the x264 export has been slow here due to running at single thread only. I compared its speed with x265 export and the x265 export was even faster than it slightly.

The counter somehow stopped working in the exported version. I exported twice and both time the timer stopped somewhere in the video. Anyway, the timer worked in the preview so I took the time down. This is another issue. The video was exported with 11.32.

  4. Sometimes I need to place several 1080p videos on the screen as compare and would like them to be displayed without scaling down the quality. So I wonder if there's anyway I can start a project and set it at 4K resolution, so I can just put the 1080p videos into it side by side without scaling.
