Ok, but when you find the spot & place the red bar there, it's on both the video & the music b/c I put the background music on a separate track (sorry, forgot to mention that part) so I can lower the volume, so I still don't see how you can only split the audio. Do I have to click on "split all audio tracks" even though it's just one? Well it's more than one, but I have to do them one at a time, right? The software won't be able to cut the tail off of each of the same audio file, right b/c they are each at a different spot even though they are one after another. Thanks

Hi there, So sometimes the music I have that goes under my text slides is very short & I have to repeat it over & over again to cover all of the slides. At the end there's sometimes no sound, so I have to cut that part out so the music continues, but when I split that, I'm also splitting the video which doesn't hinder it, but it's kind of annoying when I play the video back in videopad, b/c it sort of skips around that mark. It doesn't skip when I export it & play it back on VLC, but it does in videopad & that always concerns me. Is there any way to just cut the music (in videopad) without also cutting the video? I figure not, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Thanks

Hi there, So I have no idea why, but whenever I've used a transition effect before, it must have always been from a slide with music behind it to a video with someone talking. Right now I have 2 video clips both with talking, & I put a 3 sec transition in between, & now we can hear the next video's audio before the person talking on the first clip is finished. Is there a way to do the transition on both the video & audio so this doesn't happen, or do we need to put 3 secs of dead air in between the 2 clips & how do we do that? Thanks

Yes I saw that. My issue is that I have sequences I have to patch together, so I can't export all of them, only the ones I made into a video. Thanks

Ahh, I see, you have to lick on each sequence & then export & yes, the file is saved with an overall title b/c there's no way to save each sequence separately I see. Thanks

Hi there, So I'm finally using the feature you last told me about when I have to do several cuts of the same video & don't want to have to create a new vpj file for every cut. The issue now is, how do I export each sequence on its own and then name that export. I see you can name the sequence, so maybe that will work if there's a way to export them individual since now they are separate videos. Thanks

Ok, no, I meant software that downloads the video from a page or video platform, but I have actually been looking for a new screen recording software that is easy to use & has the mouse thingy, but I also need it to record it so people who watch it on a video platform can read the screen (articles) along with me. And where I don't have to shrink the screen so they can read it, but then I can't. This is very hard to find &, I think only Camtasia has that feature. I tried to do a recording & when I played it back both on the video player & VLC, it came out slightly blurry. I wish there were also screen annotations. Thanks

Ok, so after restarting which didn't help, I tested it by dragging another video & that worked, so it was the video. Clip grab is what I use most of the time to DL a video, but there's been problems with it recently. I had to get it ripped from a YT download on Telegram. Thanks

Hi there, How are you doing? Is there a way to cut clips from a video while in a project where I've already started working on the full project by adding slides, music & other videos? Otherwise I have to create new projects every time I want to cut clips from different videos which is what I've always been doing, but it's a waste of time & having to create multiple projects for just one main project. Ok, I already exported the video b/c I needed to get this out ASAP. I hate it when one clip is so much louder than the others. Is there nothing I can do (easily) to make them all the same volume? So are these audio issues still a problem in my version? Since this is already done, I just need to know what to do moving forward. Thanks

When it's not high at all, the 2nd track is at 50% & track 1 is at 100% & my laptop is at 50% - not sure what my external speakers are at since it's just a knob. Hi there, So this isn't the first time this has happened. When I push the audio file to the left b/c I have a smaller screen & can't tell if it's flush left or not, it pushes the image files in track 1 away from the flush left & that also pushes the video to the right. Hi, I'm pretty sure this is a new issue after the latest update. I never remember not being able to hear the video through my headset before. Is there something in the settings that was turned off by default this time? Thanks

Ok, this fixed the problem. I assume it was the cache issue. TONS of cache & considering I just switched to Win 10 (BIG mistake for me), there shouldn't have been a lot of cache since I think I've only worked on 3 videos, maybe 4 & they were small. Thank you

So I'm going to restart my computer to see if that fixes it because saving & restarting VP didn't solve anything, but as of now, the video portion isn't switching over to my slides with my comments. I had a hard time using the backspace arrow trying to get it to the right spot to split & delete ripple the end of the video which is what I did to the video & then added my slides after that. You will see it won't play the slides. It does finish the video & the music under the slides starts playing, but not the slides themselves. I do this all the time, so I'm not doing anything new. This is a first time issue.
