Uninstall your software first, then go to the folder location below on your computer then delete the WavePad folder folders: C:\ProgramData\NCH Software C:\Users\(Your computer profile)\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\WavePad If you can't find the AppData folder, set Windows to show hidden files and folders with the steps from this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files. After deleting the WavePad folder, restart your computer then install it again from the next link: https://www.nch.com.au/components/wpsetup.exe Try again to check if this solve your issue.

    In this case, the NCH Software licenses allow 6 months of upgrades, if after this time (6 months) appear a new upgrade, you can get it, but you'll need to pay for it or you can continue using the one that you have.
