Can't load video into VideoPad

Perhaps a component has been damaged.  Close Videopad.  Use Windows Explorer (the file manager) to locate these folders and delete all the files that they contain...

"C:\Users\<PC Name>\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\Components"

"C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\Components"

Then reinstall Videopad.  Here's the current release.

For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date.  After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest.  Retain your old install file and registration info.

Another approach would be to capture the video with a program like Debut.

Ok, no, I meant software that downloads the video from a page or video platform, but I have actually been looking for a new screen recording software that is easy to use & has the mouse thingy, but I also need it to record it so people who watch it on a video platform can read the screen (articles) along with me. And where I don't have to shrink the screen so they can read it, but then I can't.

This is very hard to find &, I think only Camtasia has that feature.

I tried to do a recording & when I played it back both on the video player & VLC, it came out slightly blurry. :(

I wish there were also screen annotations.

Thanks
