Effects incompatible with one another?

Hi all,

I haven't posted here in a while - I must be getting the hang of using Videopad!

I have been trying to use a combination of effects on my Video 2 track, to play over the 'base' video on Track 1.  Specifically, I had tried to use a Ripple effect on the Video 2 track, with transparency.  One or the other of these effects worked correctly, but with both in place, they only showed the track 1 beneath.  Are there some effects that are not compatible with one another, or perhaps a hierarchy of applying the effects?  

I can think of ways around this (i.e., applying effects, exporting track, adding the exported video as a new asset) but would be more convenient if it were possible to applying several effects at once.

Using the current release, adding ripple, then a 50% transparency to the woman, unable to replicate your issue here.  The tulips are on track 1.

I was using beta 13.39 and everything works as expected, preview and export are correct.

Maybe it's a cache problem? Try closing your project and deleting the cache: (see screenshot)

Thanks for the tips.  It actually worked when I applied the effects in the reverse order of what I had been - Ripple first, and then transparency.

Either way here.  But ... whatever works for you.😊  There are occasions when order makes a difference.
