Best audio settings for voice over narration (how to sound good as a speaker?)

Share a voice track and someone here may play with it.  Of course, their idea of "more pleasing" may not match yours.🙂

Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum.  When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."

There is a way to make your voice sound deeper, you could experiment and try, This is a demo I did of tying fishing  hooks  https://youtu.be/YUxD6wgiP2k.

Now, this second clip is the same but re exported slowed down a little to lower the voice    https://youtu.be/_uhyCvv0ex4

I play around and experiment all the time, I love finding out what I can change, just have a play.

Speaking slower in voice overs sounds better and more professional anyway

I don't know German but you sound fine to me~ If you want hollywood trailer sound, you may need wavepad's voice changing function instead of an equalizer.

And for narration, I did this.

Click the Sequences tab - above the bin - then right-click on the sequence and Save Sequence Audio as New File.

That will be a WAV file, stored in the PC Music folder.

If there is no Sequences tab, add a new blank sequence by clicking the + sign on the sequence tab that's just above the timeline.

Import it to WavePad, then experiment will the many different effects the program has to offer.  Once done, SAVE, then add the file to VidePad, and mute the original track.

Hi, the tone of your voice sounds fine, one thing I would say, you may be speaking too close to the microphone, there seems to be some popping now and again that results from being too close, also now and again it gets a little muffled, a little bit further away would give more clarity.

You may do well to do as Borate and Lancelot say and try playing with Wavepad, it's a very good programme, Best of luck
