PaulH55
I'm trying to create a simple music video using a series of pictures (.jpg). They are very varied in their dimensions (in case that is a factor). But, randomly, a picture used elsewhere on the timeline will sometimes appear behind the selected picture. Especially (but not always) the smaller, landscape images. I've tried deleting, reimporting, changing and removing effects from the pictures. And sometimes (again randomly) that will fill fix the problem on one selected picture. But the issue will then appear elsewhere in the timeline. With a different picture showing up behind a different selected picture. Any help very welcome!
borate
Install this version and report back if the problem persists. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. Nationalsolo
Hi Crop or Zoom all your pictures to the same AR (e.g. 16:9) and it shouldn't happen. The frame will be filled by all the images. Anything on upper tracks will totally cover any image on a lower track. Nat

borate
If your licensed version was purchased within the past six-months, registration should still be good. If not... https://www.nch.com.au/upgrade/ Or take a look here. Download/install a release that is later than the one you have, but is still within the six-month window. Chances are that the issue you experienced will have been fixed. There's no mandate to install the very latest version - especially if the one you own is doing the job. Unlicensed free and trial releases can always be test driven, to see what's new or improved. If unlicensed, features may be limited.
PaulH55
Resolved! For some reason the resolution had hanged to something weird (not 1920/1080). When I manually changed it back was fine.
