slacker303
Hello. I have been successfully using Mixpad to record my DJ mixes. My mixer has ASIO card and I've not had a problem up until now. No set-up has changed, and no settings have been changed but now I get the message: 'There is a problem with the recording device you have selected for this track. Please check that it is turned on and connected to the computer. You may need to restart MixPad' I've checked everything and reinstalled Mixpad but still the same message when I try the enable the record monitoring. I use the same set up with other software (Rekordbox) with no issue, but I'd rather record through Mixpad. Any help is appreciated, thanks
slacker303
I think I've sussed it. The Audio Playback options in the 'General' tab had reverted back to 'Default Playback Device' (possibly after I reinstalled). Changed this to the mixer ASIO settings and it seems to be working!! Dan Mo
The same has happened to me. I used the free trial and everything was great. After the trial, I looked at a few others but came back to MixPad. Now it is giving me this same error, I use a Alesis io2. How can this be fixed? Fred28
Did you check your Audio Playback options to make sure the correct device is selected, same as Slacker303 reported? DannR
Try doing a clean install and delete all the cache of the program. Uninstall your software first, then go to the folder location below on your computer then delete the Mixpad folder folders: C:\ProgramData\NCH Software C:\Users\(Your computer profile)\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\Mixpad If you can't find the AppData folder, set Windows to show hidden files and folders with the steps from this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files. After deleting the Mixpad folder, restart your computer then install it again from the next link: https://www.nch.com.au/mixpad/mpsetup.exe If after this you keep getting thr same issue I will suggest you contact NCH Technical Support Team for assistance: https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html
