oklord
Good day, I have a VideoPad project that is using mp3 audio file. Several times I've come across a word that I want to cut out or mute. I was hoping WavePad "intergrated" into VideoPad so I edit the file from VideoPad. I can't seem to find anything in the forum or on utube. I was able to mute the word at the beginning of the audio file. Now I'm minutes into it and when I jump up to CLIP Preview it always starts at the beginning of the clip making it very hard to find my place again. Thoughts? Thanks in advance. Perry Matthews
I would just cut the MP3 file on the Track and work from there. Let's say this is the MP3 file as it appears on the Track. ---------- Cut it in two places, sandwiching the unwanted part like this. ----|-|---- Then just mute that part. It usually works for me. Hope this helps.
oklord
Thanks, That's what I'll do. So if one were to purchase wavepad which is supposed to integrate with videopad, could one highlight a section of the audio file and then jump out to edit it? Perry Matthews
Sorry, but I don't have WavePad, so I can't answer that.
borate
Wavepad does integrate with Videopad. When appropriate, a right-click on the audio clip may display this Wavepad will open the clip. Do your thing, then click the red X at the top-right. The file will replace the original on the timeline in Videopad. This doesn't destroy the original on the PC. If the menu choice doesn't appear simply open Wavepad conventionally to edit the file, then import it into VP.
