Lining up 2 tracks permanently

I shot a couple of scenes with 2 camera's.

And after lining up (synchonising) the sound I chopped them in to pieces.

After a while, doing al kinds of editing, I noticed the both camera's tracks were no longer in sync.

All the clips in track 2 were slightly shifted to the left.

Is there a way to permanently lock the clips on track one and two?

Try this...

Select the clips, right-click on one and GROUP SELECTED CLIPS.

I've tried grouping things together but that's not the solution, things still shifted slightly, despite being grouped together. I got a whole bunch of cuts of equal lengths on track one and two, so it's easy to see when stuff gets misaligned. I think this might have happened when I used track one for something else somewhere along the time line. But cleaning up these time shifts does cost a lot of time.
