solved Green line when editing video

Good morning,

i am having trouble with some videos when going to edit them and it getting worse. when i import the videos to videopad they are fine, put them into the editing bar and a line appears on the right hand side of the screen. i used to be able to sort it out by changing the aspect ratio but for some reason it makes no difference now and it has just put one in. the aspect ratio is 16:9 and when i  go into the properties they are all the same. Can anyone help me with this as its getting very frustrating.

What version of VP are you using and Is this a vertical green line on the right hand side of the preview image?  If so you will need to download the latest version as this is a bug that was quickly fixed but some users may have have downloaded  it in the interim .

i'm using 8.55, it also cuts a line from other clips on the left and displays on the right.

Thanks for that didn't realise there was an update i'll see if that sorts it.

it has got rid of the green line but now has a flickering line instead, doesn't look like it will affect the video??? possibly off screen.

In fact the "line" was a sliver from the same clip but transposed to the right side.In some situations it showed up as a green line. Trouble was it exported. But as I mentioned it was corrected immediately it was reported.

The corrected version works fine here.
