Bloodrobe
so far i like videopad but for some reason I keep getting an error when I try to add stock sound saying it cant connect to the internet. I have allowed it in my firewall (using bitfender) but to no avail still wont get sound folder.
borate
Peculiar; comes right up here with "connecting to server." Install or re-install the current version and see if that helps. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Nationalsolo
Hi Try it when you are connected to the internet...i.e. while you are running on he forum. VP should then immediately come up with the sound library list and Download your selection without having to connect. (Vista VP 8.04) Nat
Bloodrobe
Okay so I have not purchased yet because I wanted to try it out first. Actually this was the deciding factor just wanted to make sure I could get to the audio content before I purchased. So my question is if the audio content is not available on the trial before you buy version?
borate
Tested here with the 8.04 'free' version. The stock sounds are available. One was downloaded to confirm.
Bloodrobe
i submitted a support request yesterday but no reply so far. I will try an uninstall an reinstall see if that works. I will use the above link to the free version. Will give it a go and get back to you all. Dang still not working, making me wonder if it my bitfender firewall... it shows that it is allowing access but have a feeling it is blocking it. borate
A possibility; doesn't appear to be a VP issue. Temporarily disable the firewall as a test.
Bloodrobe
Yeah pretty sure it's the firewall and I need to provide an exception... Anyone know the url adrees for the stock sounds?

borate
It's a mystery. Try installing Videopad on another machine and see if sounds are available there. The latest version.
