Add Text to end of sequence

I have added a Tesx to the end, but when I play the sequence the Text does not show. The RED time line ends at the end of the video, and I cant increase it.

Works fine here in the latest release.  What version are you using?

You are placing the text clip at the end of the video, on the same track?

A text image (clip) can be placed like this........On the overlay track (Video track 2) and positioned above the sequence. It will then play over the Clip on Video Track 1

 

Or it can be placed on the overlay track (Video track 2) at the end of the sequence on Video Track 1 like this........When it will play on a black background.

 

Or it can be placed to directly follow the sequence on Video Track 1...........When again, it will play on a black background.

 

In all of these scenarios VP should play the timelime to the end including the text clip.
