Said computer is starting to act up so I got a new MacBook Air. Question: How do I transfer the paid for Express Invoice app and license to the new machine? First make sure to create a backup of all your information, just go to ¨Tools¨ and then click on ¨backup Data¨ select where to back it up and that is it. Then uninstall the program from the old Mac to avoid blocking the license. When you are done make sure you download and install on the new Mac the version of Express Invoice that is compatible with your license or you will not be able to register the license. If you are not sure where to download that from then contact NCH Technical support for them to provide you the download link. Once you have the program installed on the new Mac, open it up and register the license with the same license registration code you already have. WG_polczer Posted March 29, 2021 Share Posted March 29, 2021 Have also transferred express invoice to a new Mac book. worked, but a couple of invoices are missing. I can see them in my back up - however they are dat files. If I want to import them now from my back up it asks me for CVS file - how do I convert the back up - so I can import the missing invoices ? elk Posted March 30, 2021 Share Posted March 30, 2021 If the invoices are on the old computer and you backed it up ( https://www.nchsoftware.com/invoice/kb/1140.html ) they should show up in the new installation when you restore it. If you do not see some invoice, make sure you have cleared all the filters to be able to see all your invoice. Click View > Invoices > for Period and Display Invoice select ALL and confirm that you have deleted what you have in the Keyword field.
