colhea
I have Videopad professional 6.24. I have a scratchy noise at the end of my clip that I want to remove. I did the noise removal and it lowered the sound of the whole clip, so that doesn't work. Can I delete the last part of the audio tract where there is no sound but does have the scratchy sound? I tried to bring in the bracket but it is tied to the video track. Thank you.
borate
Right-click the audio track and UNLINK FROM VIDEO. Then you should be able to split out and delete the extraneous audio.
colhea
thanks I did that and when I went to relink the video it shortened it to match the audio. this is the first time I am creating a video, so I want to know when I am all done do I need to link the video and audio to save to a MP4? borate
No need to relink. Just export as is and it should be fine.

Nationalsolo
Hi As an alternative if you don't want to split the audio track or unlink it...... Left click the audio track Click Clip Preview. The audio will now be visible in the preview pane. Left click the blue line to place a maker where you want the volume to decrease or the unwanted sounds to be reduced. Grab the line a little to right of the marker and drag the line down to the required level you can adjust it left or right as required.. You can then readjust the position of the markers to get the best effect. Nat
