Nationalsolo
Hi NCH If you are on the Home page of VP and try to export using the "Export Video" tab, you are presented with a choice screen (Video Export screen .... File; Disk; Upload) Unfortunately none of these choices seem to be working. Exporting can however, be done with the two alternative Toolbar Export choices, but there does seem to be a bug here. A further bug is present in connection with sequence generation. Clicking the + following the Sequence 1 x correctly clears the video and sound tracks and saves the timeline clips as a single clip in the sequence media list bin. Reloading this sequence back to the now empty timeline does not load the associated sound track back with it although this does play when the sequence is previewed. Also..Why, when sequence 1 has been generated, does the presumably new empty Sequence 2 show a Sequence 1 thumbnail? That's bit confusing. Previously the thumbnail for the sequence to follow has been a clapperboard icon and used to indicate an empty file until you generate Sequence 2 when it reappears as an empty sequence 3...?? In fact why does it need to appear at all? It would seem more logical to show just the sequences you have created.... Nat
borate
Hi NCH If you are on the Home page of VP and try to export using the "Export Video" tab, you are presented with a choice screen (Video Export screen .... File; Disk; Upload) Unfortunately none of these choices seem to be working. Not seeing that here, Nat. When the EXPORT VIDEO button is clicked it brings up a menu with three choices. Clicking on FILE produces a menu with four choices and clicking on VIDEO FILE gives the usual "choose file settings" display with the CREATE button at the bottom. If the EXPORT item on the menu bar is instead chosen, there are no interim steps ... VP goes right to the final menu. A further bug is present in connection with sequence generation. Clicking the + following the Sequence 1 x correctly clears the video and sound tracks and saves the timeline clips as a single clip in the sequence media list bin.Reloading this sequence back to the timeline does not load the associated sound track back although this does play when the sequence is previewed. Confirmed - audio track is blank. I also note that an overlay track (which was just above the opening video) displays as part of the video track, as if it has been composited into that track. Nationalsolo
Hi Just tried it again.... VP Professional v.4.08 Add File Drag and Drop from media list onto Videotrack 1 Left click the "Export video" tab.. (Third tab from left with icon of film + diskette) Export Video window opens with "Select Export type" Three options shown with icons....File...Disk...Upload The File option is outlined on the window opening. None of these options do anything when selected. They just turn into an up-button when hovered over then depress and outline when clicked on. Usual menus don't appear. borate
Something is afoul... ADD FILE DRAG|DROP onto track 1 EXPORT VIDEO button Clicking any one of the "Select Export type" choices brings up appropriate sub menu/s, which then lead to the CREATE menu. Clear CACHE and try a reinstall, Nat.
c_major
Hi Nat, I've confirmed and filed a bug for sound track is missing when adding a Sequence to another Sequence. I could not reproduce the Export Video button bug. Screenshot please. Also, I'm not quite following the Sequence icons issue. Could you please also provide screenshot? Update: We'll disable "unlink" option when showing the sound track of a sequence (on another sequence). This would simplify the implementation (means less bug and run faster). I don't see much point to unlink the sound track from a sequence clip. Thanks,
