Diver
Hi, My previous version of videopad allowed you to select a custom snapshot resolution with x and y pixels being entered via options, media files tab. I can't find this setting in the current version. Anybody know?
Nationalsolo
Hi That option was available in 2.41 but in 3.04 it isn't available. The snapshot (.png) is saved at the resolution of the standard VP movie frame.(1280 x 720) Nat
Diver
Thanks for the reply. The snapshots I'm getting are actually 1920 x 1080 but I can work around it. It's a shame the feature was removed. Are there any plans to reintroduce it? I use a digital camera with both standard and widescreen resolutions and a combination of both HD and standard webcams so the abitlity to adapt the resolution for stills was very useful for me. Nationalsolo
Hi "The snapshots I'm getting are actually 1920 x 1080 but I can work around it." VP must set the default png resolution to that of the clip being used then. I generally use 1280 x 720 and that's the resolution of my snapshots. I haven't tried the larger video format for this. However you can use the crop function to make all your output the same aspect ratio. Nat
ConnorBrendish
I'll try to have this feature added back in to VideoPad as it seems people are missing it. I can't say when / if it will actually be implemented, though.
