Nationalsolo
Hi It seems that the VP .ssa generating program will only recognise single line subtitles when you save the .ssa file. Even though you CAN enter multiple lines AND they seem to appear on the preview it may be a bug. If the list of subtitles is subsequently saved as an .ssa file and then reloaded back to your project only the first line of each subtitle will appear. This the reason that "Oceans apart" (enter) day after day" will only show as "Oceans apart" even though it appears initially on the screen as two lines. If you use a third party .ssa file generator such as Sub Station Alpha you cannot generate multiple line subtitles even though there is sufficient space shown in the text entry box. Pressing the "Enter key" to obtain a new line will simply enter your text. (In fact the .ssa file image only has single line text boxes) The fact that VP WILL allow this AND display them but it won't allow you load them is possibly a bug. The answer to this is to only use single lines of subtitle. Interestingly if you DONT load your subtitles from a saved .ssa file then the multiple lines that VP show in the preview save to your movie.....
