Variables in Outbound Autodial Call

bugfree

Hi

I'm trying to use the advanced format for "Outbound Autodial Call"

from the help file:

"For example if the number was 5551234567&ogm=My+OGM&data=999 the call would answer using the OGM named "My OGM" and with the variable "data" set to "999". You can also set ogmanswer to specify the OGM to use if the call is answered by a person or ogmmachine if answered by an answering machine. "

I have a OGM that uses TTS from a text containing a variable %order%

OGM text is "Hi, your order %order% will be delivered tomorrow"

Now, if I put 22020120&order=1233 in the Outbound Autodial Call List, it seems that %order% variable is not resolved

am I doing something wrong?

thanks

stefano

I haven't worked with passing variables in a while, so I can't remember if that is the right syntax. I do however seem to remember that you need to have the TTS in another OGM (i.e. have an OGM that executes a plugin and grabs the order and then go to another OGM that reads it. I'm not sure if this is the problem in this case.

i asked the same question back in august 08

http://nch.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=9627

i never got it to work either, even asked nch paid support for the correct syntax or an example and got some pretty poor response back

in the end I gave up and used another product for dial out.

i had just come back to the forum today in the hope to see a solution but it would seem not.

if you find the solution please let me know
