Did you buy a license key for version 10 or 11? And did you register it properly with that key? If yes, then it is a software bug that the development team has to fix. If not, you need to upgrade your license key. If your license key works in version 8.91, that means you have to upgrade your key to version 10/11 for a negligible price at NCH's website.

If you're using VideoPad, I believe there is an option to add an Express Animate animation to a sequence. If not, try using the APNG export option in Express Animate settings. That should do the trick.

In the Options dialog, I am trying to switch the renderer to OpenGL so that there will be better performance. In the NVIDIA and Windows control panels, I have explicitly allowed Express Animate to utilize my GPU. It supports OpenGL up to 4.6, with backwards compatibility all the way down to OpenGL 1.0. But Express Animate is complaining that I don't have a video card that supports OpenGL 1.3 or newer. Please help.

Debut is not really meant for games - too high CPU usage, buggy encoding when heavy programs are running, etc. For games, I'd recommend something like this if you're on Windows or macOS's built-in screen recorder in QuickTime.

I think 8K might work if at least one of the source files is 8K and in the timeline. (I have seen similar functionality in Express Animate - it successfully exported a 5000x5000 video because I put a one-frame 5000x5000 video in the timeline.) Let me check if the trick works in VideoPad...

What is the max resolution and frame rate that Videopad supports? I know, that in the export file dialog it can only go up to 4K 144fps, but it somehow auto-adjusts to 240fps if I'm editing 1080p gaming footage (since the source video files are 240fps). So if 8K is supported at all, what is the max framerate? (I don't mind downscaling in the previews as long as the final output is in 8K)

I believe NCH has made a data recovery program: https://www.nchsoftware.com/data-recovery/index.html Basically every function in Orion is completely free except for the "Deep Scan" feature, which can be executed up to 3 times before needing to buy the program.

Beware though, version 11.26 (as Borate has linked) contains the glitch that doesn't let you export to H265. If you need to export videos to H265, you really shouldn't downgrade.

I think that Debut should include an option to run its video capture/video encoding code on the GPU, as this would presumably make things much, MUCH faster. The current CPU-based implementation is single-threaded and slow. Plus, videos end up blurry or have wierd pixelation effects due to the encoder not having enough CPU power to encode the video properly.

One of my jobs is to edit high-resolution images. PhotoPad has handled this like a champ across all of my computers. However, I am trying to open a 12096x16128 image, but PhotoPad is complaining that it does not have enough memory. That can't be true, since I had 35.6 GB of RAM free when I tried to open the image. I suppose this is a side-effect of compiling PhotoPad for Windows as a 32-bit application. All I'm asking for is for you to release a 64-bit version of PhotoPad for professionals that handle large images on a daily basis. Frankly, I expect more from $60 software.

I was thinking about using an Investment Account for this purpose, but Investment Accounts don't let you "spend" shares. How would I go about tracking my crypto in this program?

I think he/she is talking about correcting the lens distortion; Is there some kind of basic "skew" feature in PhotoPad? Until then, I suppose OP could try: 1. Free-form selecting the building 2. Exporting that free-form building into Paint - Microsoft Paint (preinstalled with Windows) comes with a "skew" feature in its Resize menu 3. Save it, then remove the background with PhotoPad's builtin feature for that 4. Insert that building again

I don't really think you're doing anything wrong. If you're actually just using it for showing to family members, school projects etc. it shouldn't be a problem. How "bold black" exactly is it? And how big is the text? (Please send a link to a google drive file containing a screenshot) If you're working for a company or something then I can tell you that PhotoPad is more than worth its $60 price tag and you should really consider getting one of those "site licenses" that allows you to register the same license key across all of your company's computers, be it a PC or Mac.

Yes, I am having issues creating a panorama. The preview loads perfectly at 100% quality, but when I try to actually make the panorama, it fails because it "ran out of memory". Clearly this isn't the case since I have 128GB RAM, of which >120GB are free. It's happening because the core PhotoPad EXE is 32-bit rather than 64-bit. If I recall correctly, 32-bit EXEs can only utilize up to 2GB of physical RAM no matter what. I can confirm that this is the issue since the panorama fails when the quality is 30% or higher. Again, I cannot afford to lose ANY quality. I am using 3 JPG files, the resolution of all three images is 6000x4000, the bit depth is 24, and they are each 300dpi.

I have a large camera from Nikon which takes really really high resolution images, and I don't want to lose a single pixel of quality while making, for example, a panorama. I already tried 4GB Patching the PhotoPad executable, but still no avail. I verified my computer has a 64-bit CPU and 128GB of RAM. I also have a GeForce GTX 1650 Ti GPU (irrelevant but may be useful). BTW, VideoPad already has a working 64-bit version so it might save a little time to copy over the Visual Studio configs from that and just find-replace the names and copyrights. (I'm just making assumptions about the Visual C++ stuff because all of your software looks a lot like native WinAPI apps)

But don't be fooled, eventually the "non-commecial 'free' version" will also "expire" and you'll need a license key no matter what. Same goes for every other "free" program made by NCH.

Every time I try to launch H265 encoding with MKV format (or any format), it always says "Failed to initialize output". Seems to be a problem specifically for VideoPad, since Debut's H265 encoder works just fine.
