  1. I have downloaded Version 9.73 and the "move notes up/down with arrow keys" does not work. It works in Version 9.49. Has this feature been removed or do I have a problem? It was a very useful feature. (CTRL-up/down to move 1 octave would also be useful).
  2. I have a measure where Beat 1 has a C in Voice 2 and Beat 4 has a C# in voice 1. The C in voice 2 plays as a C# unless I remove the # from the C# on Beat 4. What is wrong? I have tried re-aligning the measure, and also re-starting Crescendo but it didn't fix the problem. It happens to any Voice 2 note that has an accidental on a later beat in Voice 1. If the later beat is also in Voice 2, it does not happen. (This is all in Key of C). If I print the C with a natural sign, then it plays C natural, but this should not be necessary. I have not tried it with other voices. I am using Crescendo V9.40 and Windows 10.
  3. I have free version 9.40, and there is a Lyrics icon beside the Text icon at the right end of the Notations Tab, as well as in the Notations Menu. (And keyboard shortcut "L"). My complaint about Lyrics is that you cannot move the whole line up or down - you have to move each syllable individually, positioning the alignment line to line up with the rest of the syllables/words. And this is even if you have CTRL-Selected every syllable in the line! Why can't there be a CTRL-Click or something to move the whole line as a unit? The way it is makes for a very clumsy procedure. I think this is the major fault with Crescendo. Oh - maybe except for the Metronome being out of sync with the playback.(Although that doesn't bother me too much.) Otherwise, it's an excellent program.
  4. I may have found the problem - a bug in the software. Occasionally it will give me the message that the feature I am trying to use requires me to purchase the program (even to enter notes!). Re-starting the program resolves the issue.
  5. The web site should make this clear, especially regarding printing! I spent several weeks working on a couple songs & learning the program, only to find that I can no longer print them. Wasted effort!
  6. Then why has it printed in the past? It has been on my computer for several years and I have tried it previously and it printed ok. Is there a time limit?
  7. I have printed several times (mainly to check spacing etc.) but all of a sudden it says I have to buy it in order to print!! Is this a free version or not? The above post says VSTI and some print options are the only limitations. The web site does not give any mention of time nor feature limits on the free "Hobbyist" or "Demo" version. (Crescendo Version 9.40)
  8. Is there a way to make beams slope up or down, to follow the direction the notes are taking? The way it works now is that some stems are extremely short & others extremely long.
  9. It sure would be helpful if you could use different colors for each voice. It would make editing a lot easier than having to not show specific voices. Other music software has this feature. I have been trying some other programs & Crescendo could be the best, except it lacks this feature.
