The player works in my android devices as: <audio controls id="Audioplayer" loop="loop"> <source src="http://0.0.0.0:88/broadwave.mp3?src=1&rate=1" type="audio/mpegURL"> </audio> but it doesn't work in any browsers but when I load http://0.0.0.0.:88/broadwave.mp3?src=1&rate=1 and it streams just fine. This doesn't make much sense to me because the code displays as <body> <video controls="" autoplay="" name="media"><source src="http://0.0.0.0:88/broadwave.mp3?src=1&rate=1" type="audio/mpeg"> </video></body> I tried using the video tag but this didn't work either. It's ok in a new window but I was hoping to display content with the player. Flash is months away from being removed also now, so getting this play running seems quite crucial. It must be possible if it plays standalone. My first solution was to place it inside an <iframe but then it didn't load.

Hi, This is Kevin from TrenDigi Tech. I've purchased one key for Broadwave and it is streaming live for about 3 days in a roll now. During the testing period before it actually goes to public, we've found a issue. When we first started the streaming server 3 days ago (set quality to 256kbps), we were able to hear clear sound quality on both mobile device (Android and iOS default browser were both fine), MacBook, and Windows 7 laptop. The streaming server has not been stop or restart, and the issue pops in on the 3rd day for no reason. The issue is that you are no longer able to hear clear sound quality "ON MOBILE DEVICE (Android and iOS)", the sound is with lots of noises and echo. BUT, at the same time it will not happen with MacBook and Windows laptop. What is the cause of this problem? Thanks, Kev

I have around 3 years using Broadwave Audio Server, and the truth works wonders, the only thing I have noticed is that when I'm reaching the amount of 20 listeners the audio starts to stop, I understand that with a decent connection you can reach up to 500 simultaneous listeners, I would like to know that I must have bandwich for not dealing with difficulties in the transmission? Currently, my connection has a speed of 11 MB download and an upload speed of 1.1 MB

I have installed V1.30....on two machines. One is XP and the other Vista..... Both are running BUT the stream is mono though I am feeding stereo audio from the same source. I can set the audio to one channel and it still comes out mono on BOTH channels on a phone or PC listening to the stream. IS there something wrong or is this normal? I could not find anything in the help menu or manual. Surely I have missed something but I cannot see how. Would appreciate an answer asap. Tnx Chris in SE Texas of course

HI I'm using Broadwave for live streaming. I'm not sure if this issue is related to the B.W. software it self but maybe someone has the knowledge here. The user is streaming through satellite link and some times the connection drops for few seconds. When this happen the streaming stops and don't start up again unless click on the link again. So my question is why is the player not picking up the stream again? Is this some adjustment that need to be done or perhaps a different player I should use? Thormar

I have set up Broadwave on an XP machine and finally got it to work after several attempts - but I still have one issue, which I'd welcome some advice on. I am using the unlicenced version and find that when I try to connect to the live audio stream the only way I can do this is to go via the Broadwave Connect webpage and then click on the relevant link. But if I copy and paste that same link into my browser, I see the following error message reported by Windows Media Player. 'Windows Media Player cannot connect to the server. The server name might not be correct, the server might not be available, or your proxy settings might not be correct.' Is this appearing because I am using the unlicenced software ? and will it go away once registered ? Or is there a problem with how my PC or router is setup ? I believe I have setup port forwarding etc OK. NB. If I go via the Broadwave Connect webpage then the audio can be heard clearly - so it does work.

I am trying to decide weather to purchase this broadwave software. I have been using the trial version of the program and I was given a URL to listen to the stream of live audio. I am not sure exactly what happens upon purchasing of the software. I have used shoutcast streams before and had to pay a weekly or monthly rate for the URL to be able to stream. Is that not the case with broadwave. Do I just continue to use the provided URL to stream once I pay that one time purchase fee? Do I never have to find a shoutcast again? Please help.Trying to decide as soon as possible.

People who attempt to access my stream from my web page are just getting a white rectangle instead of the arrow and info icons. I can use them just fine; they look like they do in the Manual. Works fine otherwise. I guess it's a learning curve, but I could really use the help. Thanks, Erik

Hello Broadwave users. I stream an FM free to air radio station on Broadwave. This works fine. However I see reference in documentation and forums to using .asx, .m3u and .mp3 file extensions. For a live stream what is the correct file extension to use in the URL link?
