UltraCody
Does anyone have any idea when NCH is going to release a 64-bit version of Debut?
LSHAW1
I'm using Vista 64bit, and only have sound problems.....no sound when playing, no sound when recorded.
LSHAW1
I have almost exhausted efforts for manipulating the sound when I play the video, and when I playback the recorded video. I can SEE what I recorded, but I hear no sound while PLAYING the video, or while playing BACK what I recorded. Microphone isn't what I want, as I'm trying to record from a VHS tape (using Dazzle100 VHS to PC/DVD converter hardware) to my PC and then will create a DVD. Without sound while playing or after recording, I don't know what else to do. Could some kind person/soul please help me out with what settings I need for sound input and output? Emmylou78
We have no set date when we will be supporting software on the 64bit operating systems. Specifically in regards to this post, have you tried GoldenVideos to convert your VHS tapes to digital format. If not give it a try, its free. http://www.nchsoftware.com/goldenvideos/index.html I have almost exhausted efforts for manipulating the sound when I play the video, and when I playback the recorded video. LSHAW1
Yes, I have. I cannot post messages there. There are no posts on that board, and I cannot start one, hence the reason for posting here. I have the same problem with no sound.
Guest N.C.H a.n
Yes, I have. I cannot post messages there. There are no posts on that board, and I cannot start one, hence the reason for posting here. I have the same problem with no sound. Hi, If you have tried all the sound devices in options, and tried each input that you can select for each sound device, try updating the driver for your sound card. Also debut had a new version released a couple of weeks ago, so try downloading it again and using the new version. Also please remember to check that the device is outputting the sound, by plugging it into your stereo or something similar. Thankyou 64 bit users, 64 bit windows should have emulation to run 32 bit applications. I would suspect that the problems you are having would be the same if you were using the 32 bit version. Thankyou
Cyberthrope
I am using windows vista (currently). I have a vx-1000 webcam that (I bought it for my xp-pro computer I built) has a sucky microphone on it (alot of static) with the microsoft program (don't download the 2.04v download the 2.9 windows 7 version for this webcam). With this program I was able to bypass the webcam mic and select my AC-200 (I don't remember where or when or brand) headset mic using the options menu. The video properties (for adjustments) can be accessed from my taskbar or from the webcam program itself. I only crashed the program and my computer once from this program (so far) but its working fine now (it may have needed to reboot to set it in). I don't like to reboot my computer and leave it running 24/7 and only reboot if absolutely necessary. I set the Options (on mine), Record; Video Device: Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000, Capture Sound: Sound Device: Microphone (Realtek High Definition .. , Audio Input: Windows Record Mixer, Record Volume: Windows Mixer. If this helps anyone then thats great! Because this program has helped me. I don't have that crummy static on the VX-1000 microphone no more and I can use my headset microphone instead. Now my voice on the recordings are not all garbled up! Cyberthrope.
