Hello,

First off I wanna say I loved using VideoPad but i am getting so sick and tired of the constant problems that it gives me. My videos are always coming out incorrectly from the green and purple screen disfunction, to showing a black screen when I try to export videos with material of me speaking that is filmed with webcam, the list goes on. I am seriously getting so sick of this sh*t that I think I will need to find a new video editing software, that actually works!

In the meantime can anyone provide me with a long past prior version that will actually work and is reliable enough for what I am doing? Thanks! I am so annoyed right now

First of all ... list the PC's specs:  CPU/GPU/available RAM.

What version is being used? Click the Menu (top-left), HELP | ABOUT.  Post the version # and whether it lists "64-bit."

Try the current release.  Even if not licensed, all features are enabled for a trial period.

For one-time licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date.  After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee is required in order to register the newest.  Retain your old install file and registration info.  If there's an issue, you can always revert.

If no better, please share your project, either here or to me via a PM, so it can be analyzed.  Just follow these steps closely and someone will check it out...

  •     Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left.  Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER.  Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER.
  •     Upload ---  Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER.    Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file.
  •     Get link --- Get a public link.  Right-click the file and click SHARE. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view"
  •     Share ---     Click COPY LINK | DONE.  Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me.  It won't be shared.

          *    Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES.  Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.

PC specs:

ASUS Desktop. AMD A8-5500 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics, 3200 Mhz, 2 Core(s) 4 Logical Processor(s)

I had mentioned all of this in another post as well, maybe you can review it quickly and you'll see all the same problems listed that I'm having now.

They gave me a full license to VideoPad but now it seems like its been invalidated or something because its not letting use the license anymore, says I need to upgrade 🙄

But why on Earth would I pay another dime when I can't even get the current versions i have been using to produce my videos correctly 🤔

Video editing is resource intensive.  For ultra high-def or complex projects a gaming class PC is often recommended, and use of the 64-bit VP release.

Did you install the current Videopad 64-bit version?

If a license was issued it should be good in perpetuity.  Normally, any VP release within six-months of purchase should honor the license.  If you need to seek out a specific release, find all versions here.  In downloading, ignore any virus warnings.

The way to get to the bottom of your issue is to share your project - either with a link here or to me via personal messenger.  For that option, click the mail folder icon at the top-right of this forum.

Please take a few minutes to follow the instructions in my last post.  Don't skip any steps.
