How to change image duration from 5 seconds to 1 second?

How to change image duration from 5 seconds to 1 second? 

 

I have like 1,000 of selected images that I want to turn into sort of video. 

The problem is that each image is currently set to the default of 5 seconds and I want them to only be displayed for 1 second. 

I think I figured out how to change the default for new things going forward(Tools>options>media>Default still image duration) , however, how do I change the default image length for the images already in the project?

Select all the images with <ctrl-A>.

Right-click an image and Change Clip Duration. 

Under the preview window, change the duration.  <enter>
