"Backup project file found" message when opening an image.

Every time I open a photo after editing it and saving as jpeg I get this message below in Photopad when I want to open it again in Photopad to do more editing. I have to either click on "Open Layered Project"  or  "Ignore Layered Project" . I am using 7.23 and I had to reinstall it after creating a new Win10 profile several weeks ago. I do not care about projects or image layers as I just want to open the image. I have also uninstalled it and reinstalled it and re-entered my registration number but is still does the same thing. Does anyone know how to stop the message from coming up?

We found a backup project file which still has all the

original layers and effects. Would you like to load the

project file instead.
